can't believe how wonderful this place was - it had more than expected. everything on the checklist plus much more...all amenities plus many more I had no idea could be at a campground. the place is very very clean and well organized beyond my expectations. they show that they care about everything that the camp is there for.
i just can't find anything to complain about whatsoever. more importantly, it has left our family with a beautiful memory - thanks Mindemoya! we'll be back to stay much longer next time around.

This property is quite large and very nicely kept. The owner is very helpful and available during the posted 9-9 times. Remember to bring a fan with you as the cottages do not have them nor are air conditioned. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are basic and maybe doubles or queens. On a hot day it is difficult to sleep! The grounds are well kept. There are nightly activities, but not a nightly bonfire. What we didn't like was that there is a no pets policy, yet we counted 5 different dogs on the property. We didn't bring ours (we wanted to) and were taken aback. The property advertises acres on the lake, but there is no beach, there is a small off-dock swimming area (not suitable for young children) down at the marina area. Nice beaches are about a 15-20 minute drive away in M'Chigeng to the north and Providence Bay to the south. Overall a good value for money. Mindemoya is a quaint town and overall Manitoulin is a hidden gem in Canada!

After reading someone else's review about this place on Trip Advisor I decided to give it a shot. So so so glad I did!! It's not at every campground that your campsite will have an amazing view of the lake with it's spectacular sunset, that the swimming area is so well thought of with its great dock and diving board letting you dive into the crystal clear water and the floating raft you can swim too or that the shower and bathroom area is spotless and that the owners are so nice!!! I had booked this place for one night only (was on a schedule) but it was so great that I didn't mind paying the penalty on the other campground I was supposed to go to in order to stay another day and night at this place! I want to go back next year!
Just go - you'll love it!!
PS: forgot to mention that a 9 hole golf course is 1km away!! How great is that?

We love this place! There is always the perfect place to go when traveling and this is one of them. This is the forth year we were here and every year we always come back. The campground is always a place we look forward to.
