“One of the most gorgeous places I've ever been - Paradise!!”

Unbelievable!! This place is definitely remote and off the beaten path, but once the road ends at Las Alamandas you will be very happy that you made the trip! It is absolutely one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been. When at full capacity there are 30 - 40 guests. Our group of 8 had the place totally to ourselves the first four days we were there. The food was wonderful, the service impecible. We stayed at Casa Del Sol the Presidential suite. All the rooms were spacious with wonderful amenities. We even enjoyed the Tejon (a little raccoon type animal that scours for food every night and tries to break into the rooms, but is very sweet and cute). Enjoy horseback riding, tennis, workout at the gym, ride bikes, relax by the pool, swing in a hammock or just listen to the waves break on the shore and read a book. This place is heaven! The only negative is that there is NO Verizon service, and there is only slow (not high speed) internet available in the office and galerie room, it does not work in the suites. We will definitely go back! They even built a wonderful bonfire for us one night on the beach. A real GEM. Look forward to a floral decoration on your bed every night.

Room Tip: There are 3 houses directly on the beach and 3 just above those. We stayed in Costa Del Sol in the...

“Fantastic and relaxing honeymoon!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

We stayed here for 5 days for our quick honeymoon in 2006 and had an absolute blast. Impeccable rooms, personable service, great food and accommodation. We couldn't have been happier.

“An absolute GEM on Earth with exquisite design, cuisine, colors, privacy and elegance.”

There are only a handful of places remotely close to this concept on Earth, and Alamandas is truly in a league by itself. We love it because it is colorful, yet elegant, which is not easy to pull off. They have leveraged the very best flavors and beauty of Mexico but the service and attention to detail is that of a fine European Chateau. I thought the cuisine was excellent and I really wished I could have stayed longer and somehow convinced them to do cooking classes :) The views were spectacular and the property has MILES of private beaches. The water can be challenging for swimming depending on the season. But the beachfront pool is so beautiful and deep. The suites are all tucked away from the beach to the middle of the property and privacy is key. I never heard a peep from anyone else. Obviously the property is ideal for couples and romance, but i could see myself on a personal retreat here as well. They have amazing horseback riding and a private beach accessible by car on the Northside of the property which if you can is MUST arrange for a private picnic. Alamandas = Perfection. The enchantment and the spell remain very strongly.

Room Tip: I saw a few of the suites and bungalows and you really cannot go wrong. If you must have beachfront...

“"Absolutely Amazing"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2011

We have visited Las Alamandas, few months ago and could not believe this stunning and breathtaking resort. It completely exceeded our expectations. From the minute we arrived we had nothing but the best services and attention. Property with only seven private villas offers a complete oasis of relaxation and you feel like you are the only person there. We could not rave more about the white sandy beaches that stretch along the coast. We had the most amazing lunch on one of the beaches called “Chachalacas” with great service, fantastic margaritas made from fresh limes grown in their own gardens. Besides tranquility and elegance this place offers a lot of activities and amenities so you can choose to be active or just relax. From spacious, elegant suites and perfect beaches, services and attention Las Alamandas is truly a Top Resort on my list. Being in many places in the world I find this exclusive resort very unique and I recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Ocean View with your private Jacuzzi.

“An Oasis in the west coast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

What a beautiful place this is! 2 hours away from Puerto Vallarta, driving thru the mountains and onto paradise. The place is naturally beautiful and the facilities superb. It made us feel like we were staying at a friend's Hacienda. The staff is super friendly and professional and the food delicious. Next time, we will stay at the San Isidro house, as we could take a glance and was stunning!
