Pretty basic but clean and warm noisy in the mornings at 6.45 with the garbage truck reversing horn and not much insuklation between the rooms so you can hear television either side, doors slam when people leave as the closers are not adjusted properly and the breakfast is cold with cardboard like bacon which has obviously been cooked previously and "heatedup" for breakfast. apart from that it is bearable.

This is the first time we have stayed at an Ibis and I have to say that we were really impressed. We had been looking for a budget hotel for an overnight stay for a wedding nearby and because of the price we weren't expecting too much. However, our expectations were exceeded. The room was quite spacious, had a nice bathroom and was really clean. The bed was a bit "firm" but actually we slept well.
When we checked in there were families arriving with young children and I did wonder if we would get some disturbance in the morning but not at all, we never heard anything so I'm guessing the rooms must be well sound insulated. Breakfast was very nice and well worth the cost and, a real bonus, it is served up to 12.00 on Sunday! How very civilised :) Would definately use this chain again.

As usual the hotel was excellent and good value for money. I stay here every year at this time of the year and always good.

Apparently the above description of my stay isn't good enough, so I'll type a little bit more.

We were visiting family, in the local area, and needed a room for one night. I looked at a number of local hotels but very soon realised that all we really needed was a bed for the night as we would be out most of the evening and away early the following morning. On this basis the Ibis stood out head and shoulders above the rest for value - being less than half the price of any of the others. I wasn't dissapointed when I arrived as the room was clean and the staff very welcoming. I couldn't really comment on any of the facilities, including breakfast, as we didn't try them - but overall if you have a budget and want good clean friendly accomodation then I think this place will take some beating.
