“Awesome, Awesome, Awesome”

Spring House in Bequia is an awesome villa with spectacular ocean views and an incredible staff. Arlene made sure we had everything we needed and was able to set anything up we wanted. Tabitha and Princess came up with the most fabulous meals you could ever want. And, they made homemade bread everyday!! Their rum punch was the best we ever had and we've been travelling the Caribbean for over 25 years!! They kept the villa spotless and were so very nice. Lawson does a wonderful job keeping the pool and grounds in perfect shape. The villa is very spacious. We stayed in the Mustique Suite which had it's own private balcony with lounge chairs. The pool area and pool bar were our favorite spots. Anything you could ask for is there. We would hook up our iPod and be set for the week!! The pool table was great to have. We enjoyed that in the evenings. It was nice to have our own little office with a PC with internet service, printer and an international phone. It was a fantastic vacation - one that we will never forget!! Thank you everyone for such spectacular service!! We can't wait to return!!

“Wedding of a Lifetime”

Well what can we say that hasn't been said before. Spring House is magnificent. We travelled with our family and friends for our wedding in Tobago Cays on Valentines Day.

We chose Spring House because it accommodated our party perfectly without compromising space. Once at Spring House there was ample space for more than our group of 18 (apparently the largest party they had hosted).

Spring House is a real find...beautifully situated with magnificent views. Each suite is perfectly proportioned with very comfortable beds (four poster), loads of storage space, huge walk-in showers and always loads of hot water.

The food was lovely and afternoon tea was always a welcome treat at the end of hard day's sunbathing!!!!

The staff were brilliant - Tabitha and Princess are great always willing to accommodate everyones' needs and Arlene thank you for all your organisation/help.

Everyone had a brilliant time and we hope to return in the not too distant future. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend staying at Spring House its just idyllic.

Here's to our next visit...

“All of one's needs attended to...a true vacation”

A beautiful home in a gorgeous setting, Spring House was the perfect antidote to the very busy lives of four couples. The accommodations are equal in quality and amenities and the layout offers privacy for all. There are areas for the whole group to gather for fun and there are quiet little nooks for one. We lived by the pool and on the massive covered porches. Sterling service offered by Tabitha, Princess, Jessica, Lawson, and Arlene made the stay a true vacation. They quietly anticipated our every need. The meals were delicious and they accommodated our varied tastes and preferences. ( Be sure to purchase some of the local Erica's Hot Sauce to bring home.)
We ate out only twice! The all inclusive package is so worth it. Truly we were so fortunate to spend a week with such warm and kind Bequian natives on a quiet island that is as close to paradise as one can get.

“Superb Spring House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2010

This was my second visit to Bequia and to stay Spring House, and still I can’t speak highly enough of my time there. Despite having been before, the house doesn’t cease to amaze you, from the beautiful bedrooms, to the amazing views. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and are always happy to cater to your needs/requests. The Caribbean food prepared at Spring House by the local cooks, ranging from spicy jerk chicken to fried plantain (to say nothing of the homemade cakes!), is outstanding. Each of the bedrooms are different, but magnificent, and the gardens and swimming pool are always kept in immaculate condition.

Spring House has a bit of something for everybody – be it relaxing in a comfy chair on the veranda with a book, lazing in the pool, or lounging in the poolside gazebo (with its fully stocked fridge/bar). But on top of that there’s also a pool table, table-tennis table and basketball ring, plus a whole range of DVDs and computer games if you want to stay inside to escape the sunshine!

If you can bear to drag yourself away from Spring House, Bequia (and the Grenadines) also has a lot to offer...

The local beaches are stunning – if you want a small, quiet beach then look no further than Princess Margaret beach, or for white sands and waves try Lower Bay (where you can also refresh yourself with a local beer from one of the beach-side bars). At night-time you should try the numerous restaurants and bars in and around Port Elizabeth – we had a fantastic evening at Frangipani, where they serve fresh, grilled swordfish while you sample the famous rum punch, before burning off the calories to the music of the steel drum band! The locals on the island are very friendly, and always want to hear that you’ve been having a great time on their island.

One of the highlights for me was the boat trip to nearby Tobago Cays, of which the clear blue seas and white beaches might be more familiar to you from the Pirates of the Caribbean films. And indeed, you can visit ‘Jack Sparrow’s island’ and sail up to Worlds End reef. From the boat we saw dolphins and flying fish, and when we arrived at the idyllic Cays we snorkelled and swam with sea turtles! And we were well stocked on our trip – the staff at Spring House will happily put together cool-boxes and hampers for your day trips, with sandwiches, fruit, cake and nibbles, soft drinks, water (or in my case, the odd beer or two!).

Thanks again to everybody at Spring House, and I hope to see you again soon!

“SHEER LUXURY.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2010

WOW, what can I say, I have never been happier with a holiday! Spring House is just beautiful, with luxurious rooms, spacious grounds and incredibly stunning views.
Our first day we just wanted to relax following our trans-Atlantic flight and that is just what we did. There is something for everyone; the younger members of the group were constantly entertained with the pool table, basket ball court, wireless internet, endless amounts of board games, DVDs not to mention the refreshing swimming pool. Some of us preferred to catch some rays, where as others were propping up the bar at noon! All of us however enjoyed Tabitha (guest house "mother") spoiling us with a daily breakfast buffet with made to order requests, authentic Caribbean cooking and delicious high tea. The views from all over are incredible but those from the dining table are just breath taking!
Although it pained us we decided to venture from Spring House and there was so much more to see and do! The quaint centre of Bequia, Port Elizabeth, was delightful, with clear turquoise water, local fisherman, fruit markets, authentic restaurants, bars and eateries (BIG TIP greenboly for a chicken roti - so tasty). By night it was even more impressive; Frangipani (one of the restaurant/bars) had fresh, tasty food with a local steel drum band playing your favourite reggae - encouraging even the biggest couch potatoes to make some moves on the dance floor/beach.
What’s great is Spring House has its own boat so we decided to venture around some of the smaller island specs in the Grenadines, we visited Tobago Cays.... (Just search images, even Wordsworth would have difficulty in describing this with words) and swam with turtles!! We also visited the island from pirates of the Caribbean and Mayreau - a world apart! But you don't have to venture so far for clear water and soft white sand with so many beaches to offer around the island, especially lower bay and Princess Margaret beach! What’s great is Spring House had all the deck chairs, snorkel kits and beach/sea fun-paraphernalia any child or big kid could want.
As you have probably noted this review is a little one-sided with no negative aspects but the only regret I have from taking this holiday is that I didn't stay for longer. I don't usually write reviews on my holidays but I feel compelled to share this experience with people considering vacating at Spring House Bequia because I whole heartedly recommend it, I cannot wait to return.
