The Coral Gardens Inn helped to make our Great Exuma vacation memorable. We enjoyed sharing a light breakfast with other guests before leaving to explore the beaches and other fun activities Exuma offers. The Innkeeper, Peter, is very knowledgeable and helpful with information about excursions available and local eateries. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Coral Gardens.

We only stayed at Coral Gardens for three nights, and I wish it could have been longer. Peter and Betty were perfect hosts, helping us plan our time in The Exumas so as to make the most of the short time that we were there (they helped arrange tours, car rental, made restaurant recommendations and gave us local info on several beaches). You will need a car though, FYI.
Our room was clean and light, and breakfasts were satisfying and helped us start the day on the right foot. We had a great time and felt relaxed and enervated by our trip, in no small part thanks to Betty and Peter. Great value, and a great experience.

If you dream of empty beaches and water with many shades of blue, the Exumas are hard to beat. If you are looking for affordable island accommodations, the Coral Gardens in the Exumas is your answer!

We visited last May which was quite nice weather wise; not too hot and the water temperature was not cold. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable and we had a room with a bathroom attached. Our hosts, Peter and Betty, gave us invaluable pointers and recommendations and really helped us maximize our time. Our stay would not have been the same without their help. You’ll definitely need a car to get around and explore the island and we rented one through Peter. Some highlights of our trip: exploring Elizabeth Harbor via boat (rental at Minn’s), lobster at Santana’s, conch salad at Chat ‘n Chill on Stocking island, friendliness of the locals, taking a one day boat trip up the Exumas Cays to see the swimming pigs and Thunderball Groto, attending a local festival in Barraterre, and exploring the numerous empty beaches! There’s so much more say, but I’ll let these pictures do the talking.
