We have stayed at this marina on our boat a number of times and have had generally good things to say about it. However on this stay there was a particularly loud party at the bar that went on past 1am, including numerous members of the staff, making it impossible to sleep unless you closed all hatches. After the bar finally closed the party moved to one of the boats. At 3am they finally listened to other boaters' complaints and went to sleep. A number of us went to the manager to complain. He (Mike) was rude and totally unsympathetic, basically saying "if you don't like it leave." I would note that the marina rules call for "quiet enjoyment" after 9:30pm.
If you are here when there is no loud party going on, it is physically a nice place. If you like loud parties, you'll be happy. If you believe that people should show consideration for one another and lower the volume as it gets later, you might want to consider another location. Finally, if you believe people in the hospitality industry should be courteous and make an effort to deal with their guests' issues constructively, go somewhere else!
