New chef is fantastic, think this well become the best place to eat in the Northern Exumas.

We stayed in the Tower and all I can say is what a view from the bed. It was the most wonderful time I have ever had.....The boats in the marina on Christmas Eve with their lights made it all absolutely wonderful.

My wife and I were guests at Sampson Cay Club, and have never before, received the wonderful care and attention given by their personnel. We were recommended to them by business associates, they were right, on all accounts. The restaurant was above the 4 star we were told. SCC recently brought in a new Chef, my belief is that this young man will become a World renowned Chef, in a very short time. We were always treated with the highest respect, but it was never sugar coated. This is a well oiled machine, operating on part Bahamian and part East Coast time. I have travelled extensively, expecially in the Exumas. The Exumas are a very special place with pristine beaches, boating & snorkeling. The accommodations at are Sampson are clean & adequate. The store, if the delivery boat comes, is fairly well stocked. The Managers (husband and wife team), however, are two of the most unprofessional, rude, and un-friendly people that I have ever met. I am in the hospitality business, and know that if I have guests staying with me for over a week, I better at the very least know them by name. These managers could have cared less if we were there or not, and the fiasco at check-out I won't even go into. Stay at Staniel Cay. Great service, and totally friendly staff.
