The host family at the Greenwood Inn were great. Our stay was just what we needed after a very busy winter at our business. If you want isolated, beautiful beaches, this is the place for you. We walked on the beach each way from the resort for 2 hours and didn't see another person. The beach to the north goes for 8 miles. The sand was soft and clean.
The snorkling wasn't great in front of the resort because of a hurrican that went through 1 year prior to our visit, but we went to another beach 1/2 hour drive away that was fantastic. The owners are very helpful to know where there is good snorkling.
The breakfast and lunch are very good and reasonably priced. Dinner is served buffet stile and some nights were better than others. You have the option to have any or all of the meals, but it could be expensive if you ate all of the meals there. There isn't any other place to eat in the area unless you have a car and are willing to drive for 1/2 hour. We took some snack foods to skip some meals. The rooms do have small refrigerators. We bought some beers and wine at a liquor store on the way to the resort. The bar is on your honor system.
Our room was very comfortable. There was air conditioning, but we didn't have to use it because of the nice trade winds.
The pool was well kept up with fresh water, but we didn't use it much.
I don't think I would go back because of the distance to go to get something to eat even if you have a car. No groceries close by. If you want a romantic place, this the place for you.
