This was my third visit since the reopening. The great time was once again impacted by substandard restaurant experience. I ain't picky, nor snobby, nor impatient. Its a fishing/diving joint, I get it. But... its totally impossible to imagine that it would take over 50 minutes to get served a basic, straight from the menu breakfast of eggs, french toast and ham.... I'll never know how long it actually took as my wife and I left $5 on the counter for coffee and tea and simply walked out as we had a dive trip for 9am scheduled. We walked in the restaurant at 7:50! Maybe 8 people in the whole place at that time. It took more than 10 minutes to even get to order coffee and iced tea.... and we were sitting at the bar, 2 feet from the wait staff (aptly named). We went off premises for all other meals after that. Hey, I know its the Bahamas, but c'mon Mon! Here's a real basic solution to part of the ridiculousness.... train or replace the staff and manager,... and put a coffee, water/ice, and tea station in the bar area! Why should the "wait some more" staff have to go back into the unseen kitchen area to get coffee or tea?... only to apparently get back there and get lost in some other dimension/void. Put pitchers of coffee, water and iced tea within reach and most of us will be glad to help ourselves. The Big Game Club has great amenities, mostly due to location....it should be the place everyone visiting Bimini should go to eat at least once per visit... however it is becoming most famous as the place to go visit for everything other than eating due to the notoriously bad, restaurant management and execution. Oh yeah, the dive trips were spectacular and the wahoo bite was on!
