The only thing we can recommend: don't plan your holidays there!!!
We wanted to spend our honeymoon here last december, but we could not go there due to their fault and the hotel's incredibly big 'customer-friendly behaviour'!
We have booked a honeymoon-package in June for december, the reservation was confirmed by the hotel and the deposit was charged by them immediately. In august we read on their website that the hotel 'is temporarly closed, but we will open soon enough', what the hell is 'soon enough' when it's still closed?! ...and you have a reservation, and the hotel do not say a word on their own that they do not have a re-open date?! After writing thousands of emails to them asking for the status of the re-opening and our reservation and with no answer from them, I called them again and again, and they told us by phone that everything is ok!!! One day before our vacation should start we called them again, to inform them about our arrival time to pick us up from the airport, but then (=ONE day before our arrival!!!) they told us we can't come because they are closed! Thank you very much Emerald Palms for not having our honeymoon, loosing money for cancellation our flights, booking new flights back home earlier than planned, extending the stay in the hotel in New York where we got married and wanted to have our honeymoon afterwards - and lastly now 'fight' to get back the payed deposit!! But nobody reacts to our emails and calls!! What a lousy (to say it nice...) hotel...
