We stayed here 3 nights after completing a 7 day bareboat charter. It is out of town but walkable, I would recommend you hire a car or bike as the cost of taxi in marsh harbour is extortionate no where is more than 10 mins by car, but expect to pay $20 a time for your trips.
We arrived early and liz greeted us, our little yellow home wasn't ready but we were aloud to drop our bags and chill on the hammocks.
The little 'villas' are all pastel shades and set right on the beach, when the tides in the waves can splash up against the patio doors. Very pretty location.
They are a bit tired and grubby (dust, sand and hair everywhere)inside, could do with a thorough spring clean. but spacious. The king bed is enormous. There is main trance work going on behind, repairs to last years Hurricane, it has to be done sometime.
There's not much to do in Marsh Harbour and most places close early, there are a few lively bars. Jib room- great rib night.
Don't expect a trip to the Abaco to be cheap or reasonable.. It's not, it's very over priced for what you get. Some good quality some very average. There are better tropical places in the world that are better value.
