I stayed at this hotel for a conference. I wasn't too impressed. My room was large and clean, but the bathroom was pretty gross. The drain was moldy and the tub just looked dirty. My toilet was clogged and the shower didn't drain properly. The food at the different restaurants wasn't great. I would recommend just going across the street to the Lucaya Marketplace. The weather wasn't great while we were there so I didn't go in the pool, but I did walk by the one day and it was pretty dirty with a bunch of debris in it. Some of the staff was really good, but we had some pretty bad experiences at some of the restaurants.

We stayed at the Our Lucaya resort Feb 24-28. Overall it was a wonderful experience. The resort is gorgeous. Everything is clean and the grounds are beautifully manicured. We stayed in the large building - 60. Our room was very clean, and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. Our view was beachside but only being on the 2nd floor we had large palms obscuring our view of the water. I would recommend requesting a high floor beach side if you want a good view of the ocean. Bathroom facilities are nice, you can tell the hotel is older by looking at the permanent fixtures, but everything was clean and in working order.

Eating at the resort varies. We had the Broadleaf Breakfast Buffet one morning and while it was good it was very pricey. We then had breakfast across the street at the Port Lucaya open market at a small place called Zorba's. That was awesome! The coconut french toast and buttermilk pancakes were amazing. Highly recommend Zorbas! For lunch at the end of the resort on the beach (still considered on the resort though) is a small place call Billy Joe's on the Beach. Awesome burgers, grouper and conch. Very friendly! Also China Beach at the resort was wonderful for dinner.

The open market across the street, Port Lucaya is fun. Many place for drinks, shopping and eating. Plus they have the best drinks in a coconut! So glad it's right across from the Our Lucaya.

Beach at the resort is lovely. The weather was cooler than normal during our stay so there were plenty of beach chairs and open spots. In front of the reef village is a more private spot for sure but I'm not sure if this is the case during high season. There are several pools at the resort. All are very nice! Again the weather was cooler so we didn't swim but I would have liked to :)

Senses Spa at the resort is another winner. Sonia gave me the most amazing sea salt scrub and massage. The spa caters to you and pampers you every step of the way. Amazing experience!

Two thumbs up -- I would definitely go back!

We LOVED this hotel. It has a great location. Across the street from an open air market. On the beach which was very nice. Lots of water sports. Pool was nice. Hotel is comfy. Beds were awesome. We had no complaints. They also run specials so check out the "special rates".

We had booked 3 nights at the Viva Wyndham Fortuna and left after 1 night (see my review also of that property). After multiple problems at the Wyndham I called the Radisson and they rescued our vacation! I spoke to a wonderful woman in reservations who told us she would have an ocean view room ready for us (well ahead of check-in time and at a special Valentines rate that included taxes, service fees, breakfast and a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries- not much more than we had paid for a horrific experience at the Wyndham!)) We arrived to find we were in a beautiful room on the 10th floor with a sweeping view of the ocean, beach and pool. The room was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The resort grounds were beautiful and the pools expansive (although unheated ). The beach was just as nice as at the Wyndham. The service we received was great from start to finish and everyone was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We ate at a few restaurants in Lucaya and enjoyed our meals as well as our breakfasts at the hotel and 1 dinner there. We felt all food and drinks were quite reasonably priced. The weather was not great while we were there but we enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed being able to walk around Lucaya. The Radisson really did salvage what we thought was going to be a bad vacation based on our experience at the Wyndham- we are already making plans to return when the weather is hopefully better. We liked Grand Bahama and thought everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Next time we hope to do some snorkelling and water activities (too cold this time around). You really do get what you pay for and at the Radisson we felt our money was well spent
