i went to this hotel 5 years ago and it was nice and clean i didn't have no problem with it. because i was too late in booking my hotel at the raddison i took that hotel. my trip started off bad. i was suppose to arrived on thursday and because of bad storm in miami i had to wait until sat. i called the hotel to tell about my flight was cancelled and the lady tells me that she didn't have a resoration for me. i would have to call the next morning. i called the company and they told me that my resoration was done and they have reschedule to sat to wed. sat i get to the hotel i was told that they didn't have me on there list for a room. i told them that i paid for my room i had to give them my credit card for hold until monday until they can go in the office to see if it is on the fax machine. i was not going to let this stop me for having fun. i get to my room look ok and everything. later that night. i went to bed and woke up the next day my legs was itching. later that day my legs had big waps. that monday i went to the doctor with my friend and while she was her doctors office she ask her doctor to look at my legs and arms. he told me that i had bed bugs bite. he gave me a list of stuff to get and told me to tell the hotel. i went back and told the front desk and she told me that i had to talk to the manager and she switch my room. the next morning i told the manager and she tells me she never heard of that happen. it was like she didn't care. it's been over a month i still have big sores all over my legs from these bed bugs bites. all my friends that seen my legs said should sued them. i advise anyone not to go there. it's dirty. next time i am going to go back to the raddison in our lucauya i know they are clean.

“Ok hotel, just not great.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2011

I found the hotel to be clean, and the staff friendly. The location of the hotel is horrible. It is to far away from any of the attractions on the island, and the shuttle service to the beach does not run often enough.

“ROBBED OF VALUABLES”

DO NOT STAY HERE. We were having an alright time on our spring break until one day we left for lunch and came back half an hour later to find that the maid had come and cleaned our rooms...and OPENED EVERY COMPARTMENT IN EVERY PIECE OF LUGGAGE WE HAD. $250 AND SEVERAL IPODS WERE STOLEN FROM OUR ROOMS. NO ONE BUT THE MAID WAS AROUND. The front desk played stupid and said there was nothing they could do, and the local police were even worse in helping. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STAY HERE. Our rooms were locked and our valuables hidden, but when the thief (maid) has the master key there's nothing you can do. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

Room Tip: GO TO ANOTHER HOTEL. None of the rooms are safe.

“Friendly service at a Days inn quality hotel in dying part of Freeport.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 March 2011

I will have to be fair in saying the service is perfect. Friendly helpful staff no attitudes and not rude. The rooms are clean and don't smell funny, there was no remotes for the tv, the plumbing was ... well .. somewhat functional, it was a safe place to stay. There is a restaurant in the lobby that had good breakfast special $4.50pp and dinner was good as long as you stick to seafood. Don't order the chicken dinner.
IF you just want a clean safe room at a good price this is it. Take your room savings and put it on a car rental if you plan on going to many attractions on the island. There are only a handful of choices for restaurants other than what is in the lobby, Burger king, Polo Tropical are walking distance as well as three or four local bar/restaurants in the old dying international mall. There was a good nightclub next-door club Amnesia that's closed.
The good news is the "bus" ( a ten passanger mini-van) is only $1.25pp and it will take you near the Lucaya marketplace/resort area where you will have a great time.

My wife and I went with another couple and we had a great time, If you like being with friends and having a few drinks without going broke this place is perfect.
