We purchased a week at this timeshare through Trading Places International. The property is old (over 30 years), so though the room was clean, everything is dated. If you are only looking for a place to sleep it might be fine for you. Though one reviewer indicated you are ONLY 3 miles from town, you feel remote - with no WiFi and limited access to the free shuttle (not available on Wed & Thurs). We took the property's advice and went to Butler's Grocery on Sat when we arrived, for that Carl was helpful. He also drove us to the Beach on Monday (dropped us off and came back 3 hours later to pick us up). But it did not "feel" as if we could just ask him to run us anywhere at anytime - maybe that was us not him. He and his wife also went to a local fish fry on Thursday night and we tagged along (we paid for their dinner as a thank you). The food is more expensive than in the U.S. Gas is much more expensive (if you do rent a car). We felt like we had the entire pool area to ourselves because there were only a hand full of other people on the property but none of them ever came to the pool - almost like a private villa. (It seems like there are locals that have purchased units and live in one part of the property.) For me, it was not quite what I expected - I am posting a few pictures and you can judge for yourself. ALSO - you have to pay separately for your electricity and a $23 hotel tax. Since the weather was very mild while we were there, we used very little (ran the "fan" setting at night on the a/c) - our charge was only $21 but it could be much more if you were running the a/c all day.
