There are better options in Nassau, including the Sheraton next door (the hotels share beach space). Hallways carpets are run down to floor in some spaces, the whole place is kind of dim and outdated in that Vegas '70s way. Cigarette smell wafts from the huge, noisy casino in the lobby (power went out in the rooms for over 2 hours but casino stayed on!). The rooms, however, appear to have been upgraded some time in the last 5 years. Service is spotty, I arrived in a room with no towels but staff brought them within a few hours. Came to clean the room one day at 4:30 p.m. Ask for the beach view; the view from the hallway was of rooftop of hotel wings below. The huge Baha Mar resort is going up next door, and hotel staff said some of the Wyndham will be absorbed into this. But for now, if at all possible, stay next door at Sheraton or Paradise Island resorts.

I left a very expensive bottle of liquar unopened and my wedding ring on the counter while I grabbed a bite to eat come back to no liquar or ring.I ask the cleaning lady about it and she said yes she seen it and that the young man who takes the linens had to grab it.of course he denied and when there boss came up and approached me even after the cleaning lady told him she saw the stuff there boss told me I must have left the door open and someone grabbed it??!!!!!So I was sol!!!!!!

We were at the Wyndham form Feb 4-11th , 2012. We were shocked to find that they charged us, besides the high country taxes , a resort fee. They told us it was for tips for maid , pool staff, and using the Sheraton pool which was heated...(.Never used the Sherton pool and would much rather tip the people whom served me.) This hotel does need to be updated, and hopefully after the construction that will happen. We stayed in the H tower. The staff were great, but lost power a couple of times and hot tub was never hot..... We would probably not go back because of the extreme extra charges.

Now I am positive that I will NEVER return, or use another Wyndham hotel. The staff needs to be trained in Customer Service 101. I am not sure if it is an "Island Thing" or if it is because the gratuity is included in everything. Everything. Terrible service. Terrible. My time is valuable...I was paying to be there, they were getting paid. The entire property is run down. The rooms are musty for the age of the curtains and old spills on the carpets. The pool was colder than the ocean, the private beachfront was little more than a kiddie pool full of ocean debris. There are broken windows, torn carpets, and trip hazards everywhere.

Shame on Wyndham AND Starbucks.
