fun fun day. On our trip we had the all lady crew! Lots of fun they really want to make your experience great. Great snorkeling and we had a lovely day for really sailing, no engine just the sails snapping in the wind! Several couples had been on the excursion previously!

There are several sunset cruise options in St. John--and you should certainly take one of them. But this unique experience included late-afternoon snorkeling at a remote island (before sunset) and then back onto the beautiful sailboat for sailing and drinks/hor d'oeuvres. We only had about 16 people on our trip, although the sailboat would have handled 2-3 X that many. The snorkeling was great-saw many fish/turtles that we hadn't seen in our snorkeling @ other St. John locations. It was so peaceful to sail at sunset, with music playing while sipping cocktails from the fully stocked bar. Our crew was all female, very informative, all Coastguard certified, friendly, and at our service for food/drinks/gear/photography, etc. If I had taken this cruise my first night, I would have gone back out again b/f we left the island. It was so relaxing and soothing. The sailboat is immaculate; it has a bathroom on board. It picks you up/drops you back in Cruz Bay, in time for dinner at the Bay and late-night shopping b/c shops are open until 8 or 9. Kekoa staff add an optional 20% gratuity to your check, which you have the option of signing, changing, adding more, deleting, etc. That made the total to be almost $100 per person for 3 hours of sailing. It was worth it but I did feel a little pressure on the suggested tip amount. Bring towels and cameras. Everything else is provided-but you can buy a few souvenirs if you want on the boat. Shoes not allowed on the boat--they'll collect them at the beginning of the trip and return as you exit. Whatever you do in St. John--get out on the water and cruise around to see all the other small islands. It will be a highlight of your trip.

The crew was very hospitable and Captain Jameson gave us a nice overview of the day and the boat. They kept the drinks flowing after we snorkeled and had a light snack on board. The only thing I would suggest to make it better would be to find a better spot to snorkel. Didn't see much where snorkeling right off the beach at Caneel Bay and Trunk was like an aquarium. I like that they keep snorkeling to a minimum to give you more time on Jost. They have a gem in Jenna she was so hardworking and never stopped the whole time.

We had a great time on the Kekoa. The boat is awesome, and the crew wonderful. We took the 4 hour version, with 2 snorkel stops. A great option if you don't want to commit an entire day. The complimentary drinks and snacks were very good. Highly recommend this experience.

I enjoyed the day of sailing, the story of the Kekoa is one for the gods, and the captain will go further when asked. Very fun day snorkeling, great lunch, endless drinks.. Fun crew!! If you're fun, the captain lets you set of the cannon (shoots blanks), and you wear a pirates hat!!
