“If you want to go to st thomas and stay cheap and good this is the place”

Stayed feb if last year. Had a condo up on the hill. Just renovated. Unbeatable views. Staff okay. Offered free shuttle up the hill and to red hook ( the local town). The driver was more than accomodating. More expenive lodgings were available directly on the beach but the hill wasjust fine. Water was blue and crystal clear.Snorkeling was amazing right off the beach. Feels like you are in an aquarium! This area boasts the best beach in st thomas, and they are not lying. This is the place to stay. As an aside... If you stay there you have to go to buffys love shack I red hook!!!

“Great spot”

I stayed here for 2 months while working, as many traveling medical professionals do. I really enjoyed it for the following reasons: It is right on the route of the safaris (only $2.00 to stop anywhere on their route), has a wonderful reef, a marina from where many excursions leave, a restaurant/bar (overpriced by nice atmosphere) and a beautiful view. It is also about 3/4 of a mile from Redhook, from where the ferries take off for the British Islands and most importantly, the wonderful St. John. There are also plenty of great restaurants/nightlife in redhook.

“241 Barbados Sapphire Village- Simply the Best!”

I stayed with my wife at this condo I booked on VRBO from the owner Bill Sands. He was a gentleman to deal with and was most helpful to us with the booking process. The unit was ultra clean, modern and beautifully furnished! The unit offered tiled floors, a full kitchen with granite countertops, dining room, large living room with flat screen TV, large balcony/ deck which offered the most mesmerizing ocean view experience you could dream! The pictures on line are great, but when you see this place in person you will quickly realize that they do not do the place justice. The condo is close to all the major attractions. The ferry terminal to St John is 2 minutes away as well as Red Hook. You will love the selection at Marina Market Red Hook. We enjoyed the Sapphire Beach – great snorkeling and the sandy area to the left was great for sunbathing. We also enjoyed the beach just down the road- Smith Bay Park Linquist Beach….shhh it’s a secret beach…. No commercialism and very quiet with palm trees lining the white sands and turquoise waters. There are Restaurants galore in Red Hook or in Cruz Bay St John if you take the ferry over. We have stayed at many places on St Thomas and St John, some 3x the cost this was simply the best experience!

“Great Place!”

Stayed at Saba 112 last week. Very clean, newly remodeled, awesome view from balcony. Nice pool and bar right out front door. Good central location and very close to Red Hook! Loved it!

“HORRIBLE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2011

This place is terrible. Our friend was getting married at Sapphire Beach and when we booked they said that Sapphire Village was just "up the hill" from Sapphire Beach. Up the hill is more like up the mountain! It is nothing like Sapphire Beach Resort. The rooms are dirty.. the sockets were hanging out of the wall. The tub was dirty and moldy. Immediately upgraded to Sapphire Beach!!!

Room Tip: Do not book here. Seriously just book at Sapphire Beach.
