I have to thank the entire staff at Sand Castle on the beach for providing the best place to stay in St. Croix. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is cozy and the view is awesome. The beach is one of the best on the Island. The sunsets are amazing and the people are great. For anyone looking for a full service, relaxing vacation this is a great place to stay and enjoy. Thank You to the entire staff, Erma,Bruno,Robert,AJ, Monica, Scott, Chad and Simone & Sheryl. Thanks for making my 3.5 month stay in St. Croix the best business trip of my life.

A week at Sand Castle on the Beach is surely not long enough. The hotel is a real oasis offering comfort, service, and mostely the sort of beauty and climate I expected to find in paradise. The entire staff made us feel so at home that we are working toward moving there. Irma, Bruno, and all the rest of the staff made us feel we belonged. The chef at the Cafe was a wonderful surprise. Who would have expected gormet meals with a flair found in few reataurants?

Can't say enough about the friendly helpful service. Sheryl (one of the owners, Bruno and Scott) are tops! Make you feel like family. Right on the beach, great location for hunting sea glass, and snorkeling. Rainbows in the morning and sunsets at night. Clean pool, free parking, small older, but clean rooms (don't expect 5 * hotel, but they make it up in other ways. WiFi spotty at best, but free, free parking, nice to have a cooler to use and microwave, sink and refrig. in room too. Dinner menu to die for, but pricy, ($$$$ all over the island) but food is wonderful, and yummy deserts! Do try it at least once! We had a stress free relaxing time. The guests are a mix, but all very nice, and such fun, chatting by the pool.
Negatives, the roads, and roads signage horrible. Don't always believe the little maps you get at the airport! Plan on getting lost, but then sometimes that the fun, ha ha.
St. Croix a very poor island, sad to see the shanties, don't expect too much night life, and be careful where you go at night.

we have just come back from 2 weeks in paradise.
Sand Castle on the beach is a beautyfull hotel situated on one of the best beaches,where you can snorkle swim or just enjoy the good weather.
Everybody working at sand Castle are nice warm and very helpfull, so you immediately feel welcome and comfortable.
Every morning between 7.30-10 they serve the good original continental breakfast, and while enjoing this you sit and listen to the waves, and sometimes you can watch race horses swimming.
Do'nt miss their excellent restaurant, it's gotv a touch of Japanes, Frencg and Mexican kitchen, and we loved it-
Are we planning on going back YES.
