“Great Hotel that flies under the Radar!!!!”

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel within 18months. First the location of this hotel is awesome. The rooms are some of the best on the island as far as decorations and comfort. Flat screen TV, Keurig coffee/tea machine in each room, glass shower, great cross breeze with balcony door open. In front of the hotel is a place called Pleasants... ( Best food and Happy Hour prices in St. Croix). The Kings Alley is a must stay if you like upscale yet simple. I will stay there again.. real soon.

“Pleasant surprise and a great place to stay!”

I was a little nervous about this hotel, but found it to be a great place to stay while on a business trip in St. Croix. The room was beautiful, the bed fantastic, the bathroom great, and the location just right! Located just off the water where there is no shortage of restaurants and shops, it's a great location to be in Christiansted.

Complaints:
No internet access in the rooms. Lobby only.

No breakfast. There was a little place just across the alley with Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and other snacks, but not really "breakfast".

My room had itty bitty tiny little ant-like critters that i found crawling around. Harmless and squashed with a finger, but not exactly something you like to hear.

I was only there over night, but the next morning the power went out on one side of the wall eliminating the use of 2 lamps and the alarm clock (that i noticed was flashing when i first checked in, so apparently the power comes and goes???)

I didn't see an elevator. Not that i can't carry my own bag up a flight of stairs, but this can be a problem for some. If there WAS an elevator, i didn't see it.

Front desk staff - This was hit or miss... One woman was quite helpful and friendly. The other just looked bored and inconvenienced when you spoke to her. Not rude..but not eager to go above and beyond.

Overall, this was a great place to stay for a night to do business and then catch the sea plane (just down the pier!) to St. Thomas.
Some small glitches, but nothing to ruin my trip.

I was in King's Alley for a business trip.I found in a great beautiful location. It is in the middle of Christiansted and just a 20 min ride from the airport. It has great food walking distance as well as the seaplane to St Thomas in a five minute walk through a very nice boardwalk. The rooms are great and renovated .Although they have wireless internet in the lobby I will recommend to extend it to the rooms as well.Tony and all the staff are just wonderful and very helpful. If you are gonig on business or just staying a couple of nights in Christiansted, this is the place to stay.

“Very nice hotel.”

I stayed at the King's Alley recently during a brief business trip. I was by myself and didn't have a rental car so the location was perfect for my needs since it's right in the center of the shops and restaurants in town. The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled with a nice modern decor. My room had really nice black and white photos of caribbean scenes and a cool frosted glass door to the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again if I were here for business. Downsides for vacationers are the lack of a pool and no beach. There did seem to be some ongoing construction still so maybe there is a pool in the works.
