“Beautiful Resort, Nearly Perfect Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

After reading all the wonderful reviews, I admit my expectations were high for our 5 day visit. Upon arrival, we were given a signature rum punch and cool towel, followed by a tour of the property. Our room was immaculate and very enjoyable. The resort grounds are impeccably well-kept and the entire staff was always friendly.
Continental breakfast was as expected (fruit, cereal, muffins and pastry), and the regular menu is not really worth the cost or calories. Our servers could not have been better (thank you Nicki and Beatrice), and really gave a personality to the resort. Dinner at the Sevens was very good and has a staff with exceptional attention to detail (wonderful suggestions about the menu, mindful of interruptions, refilled wine and water glasses promptly). Pool-side, the food was good but it did take time to get service. The ocean-front bar had terrific views, prompt service, and easy entertainment at night by the fire pit (which closed at 10:30PM).
The beach is spectacular and rivals any other with its clear waters and soft sand. When we could not find a lounge chair or umbrella, one was quickly assembled for us (thank you, Rico). The resort is centrally located and walking to any of the other properties is easy; Grace Bay Club for lunch was nice.
Overall, the property is to be enjoyed and individually, each staff member could not be more gracious. The only drawback was the lack of coordination with the concierge regarding any type of reservation. After making reservations through the concierge on our second night, we arrived at the restaurant to be told there was never a reservation made. Making additional reservations, or spa appointments, required quite a bit of follow-up on our part and really detracted from the otherwise perfect vacation.
I am definitely returning to the island and would consider Seven Stars again, but would like to experience other resorts before saying it is a must-see.

Room Tip: When ocean-facing, we stayed in the building to the left which offered a better side of the beach; h...

“four stars for the Seven Stars in Turks and Caicos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Just returned from our first (and definitely not our last) winter vacation at Seven Stars Luxury Resort in Providenciales. A "fifth nite free" got us there, but the accommodations, great food and perfect weather convinced us to make Turks and Caicos a repeat trip. Large, clean and well-appointed suites/efficiencies with windows/balcony facing both sunrise and sunset, canopy king-size beds, sitting area, glassware/corkscrew,fridge, microwave; nightly turndown service with bottled water; double bathroom sinks, rainwater shower, separate toilet/bidet,and magnified makeup mirror! Large, heated saltwater pool; plenty of chaise lounges, cabanas and seating with umbrellas/palapas on the most beautiful white powder beach with water so clear and blue you could see your feet in deep water and could walk up and down for miles! A constant cooling tradewind and low humidity and temps of 80 degrees daily all year round is perfect. Beautiful beachside bar(Hurray for Kirkwood and staff), plentiful seating, and delicious outdoor dining with entertainment nightly. Weekly beach bbq with bonfire was great for our first nite in paradise. Met other families from US east coast who own units at the resort and return frequently and were very friendly and gave great recommendations for local eateries. Our only disappointments were the continental breakfast included with our package(minimal choices, inedible, tasteless fruit and unfriendly staff) and the overcooked fish & seafood at Seven Restaurant.

“Highly Recommended. Very relaxing and powder-sugar like beaches.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

As noted, the island (Providenciales specifically) is absolutely wonderful. Weather, sun, powder-sugar sand, unreal azul waters - a bit of heaven.

I'll review the overall experience, the spa, Seven restaurant, and the night-life including outdoor patio/deck staff and management, and lastly- the amenities. This resonates my - and my wife's - ongoing experience whilst traveling.

(simply being transparent) Seven Stars resort was definitely good, but could easily step it up to excellent*** (see *** below), it seems to ripple from management a bit. I will address the exceptions below. There were some exemplary staff that shine, as always... some reservation confusion with beach BBQ, which was a it weird/stressful that could have been simply taken care of, but planning / mgmt confused this akwardly.

The Spa: we were there twice during our stay and as my wife states; easily in the top 5 of her experiences. I'd agree :) after the first time, we requested same 2 ladies *** for our next massage.

Seven Restaurant: From Maitre d' to server - perfect. Intimate setting and very feel good presentation. Chef and kitchen nailed absolutely everything to rank in top 5 meals in a long time. Highly recommend. Compliments to the Chef and to all working here. Thank you. (great bottle of Moët -btw). Fantastic desert list, including nice Cuban smokes.

Night life and deck: low-key & chill. Great rums and other selections to enjoy w a cigar. Not a party scene. Must see "NaDa". If Norwyn*** didn't work outdoor deck, (there was) very slow service.

Amenities: Fantastic. Turks and Caicos is different from -say-a Mexican adventure, or Mediterranean. This is good and this is why we travel... Seven Stars has nice little kitchenettes with sweet All-Clad cookware, Royal Doulton China, Nespresso espresso machine along with coffee maker, very nice OXO utensils, knives, etc. and real nice Schott crystal, which we tested by dropping a wine glass on the floor (yes, by accident). Bummer to clean up. Otherwise, great L'Occitane products throughout. Oh, and quality Kohler products, including bidets.

Great grocery store very close by for vegetarian and omnivore alike, with great, relatively expensive food & alcohol selection. (Of course cheap when compared to resort prices.) Very good alternative to keeps costs down or enjoy your own menu when you'd like.
On that note, for shopping, restaurants and grocery, Seven Stars probably has the BEST location in the Grace Bay area.

***
The above (***) staff the made our trip and exceeded all other service here:
Norwyn - great work 'mon. You made the outdoor experience great... much love and thx.
All folks from Seven Restaurant (see above).
Front desk: Iquita was very helpful.
From Spa; Wena and Yna (Edz); almost want to fly back down for massage - you both are fantastic :)

We'll be back to T&C - hopefully a few tweaks at Seven Stars and staff will ALL have smile and 'want' to be there/ know what is up and insightful for non-descript duties. Mgmt - talk to employees, get on same page, reinforce brand.

Being very objective here because Seven Stars is fantastic, yet can step it up one more notch. I know it.

- great times, much love and hopefully helpful (yet constructive) input.

See you soon! - thx SO much for great time.

Aside from Seven Stars (on Providenciales)
(go diving - West Caicos snorkeling. 3rd largest reef in world - you have to). Get jeep and see Chalk Sound, Sapodilla/Taylor bay(s), 'the Hole', go for a walk around NW Point, go to a local restaurant at some point like Smoky's (near Hemingway's) and get whatever Smoky recommends and listen to some 80's, 90's music).

Room Tip: Junior Garden Suite was fantastic, actually. Thought it would be a bit small, but very impressive. I...

“Nice! But be careful about paying extra for ocean view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

The good:
-- Very clean and the staff made up the room twice a day.
-- Kitchenette to make your own snacks.
-- Great beach, soft white sand and turquoise water.
-- Free continental breakfast until 11 am was appreciated.

The bad:
-- It would have been nice if there was a separate kids pool. Yelling and crying little ones frequently upended the pool area's tranquility
-- People staking claims on pool chairs. The sun sets quickly behind the buildings and chairs in the afternoon sunlight are not plentiful.
-- This place is very expensive for food and drinks. Only occasionally did the price match quality.
-- Be careful buying an ocean view. See my room tip.

Dear Valued Guest,

I would like to Thank you for taking the time to write your recent post on Trip Advisor, your comments are appreciated. Our commitment at the Resort is to provide the finest in service and personal attention to everyone who stays with us, and it is helpful when our guests pass their opinions and experiences to us, allowing us to refine our procedures and services where necessary.

We have now removed the palm trees in question, which had grown a little too tall, in order to give a full ocean view from your suite. All of of Ocean View Suites have wonderful views over the pool to the ocean and beyond, photographs of which can be viewed on our website.
Once again thank you for your feedback.

I would like to thank you very much for choosing Seven Stars Resort , and I hope to welcome you back in the near future.

Yours Respectfully

Bela

“Absolutely Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012 via mobile

This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos and we decided to book Seven Stars through Cheap Carribean. The price for the package was so good that I was a little wary but saw good reviews on TA that I decided to go for it.
We were met at the airport by a very friendly greeter who got us a taxi. We were at Seven Stars about 15 minutes later and met at the entrance by a gentleman with cold wash cloths infused with refreshing verbena. We were invited to sit on a comfortable sofa in the open air lobby and brought a tropical juice while someone got our checkin together. They brought it to us rather than have us stand at the counter. We were then given a tour of the facilities and escorted to our room.

The resort has three buildings comprising condos ranging from studios to three bedrooms. My husband and I opted for a beachfront studio that included a well appointed and fully equipped kitchenette, complete with a Keurig, microwave, two burner induction stove, counter height fridge and sink. All dishes were also included.

Opposite the kitchen was a huge, beautiful bathroom with a jacuzzi, double vanity, large shower and a separate water closet that also held a top and bottom washer dryer. The toiletries were high end and the towels were thick. Next down the short hall were two sizable closets with both hanging space and floor to ceiling built in drawers and shelves. Bathrobes, safe and ironing board were also there. Finally, the hall opened into a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king bed and a patio complete with table chairs and chaise. The floors and bath were all tiled in travertine. Very classy room.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well laid out so you never feel like your following hoards of people. There is a large heated salt water pool surrounded by ample padded chaises. You can sit right around the pool, farther back among low shrubs or even in private gazebos. There's plenty of shade if you want it. Waiters make rounds to offer drinks. Stepping past the deck bar, steps lead down to a beautiful beach with plenty of chaises and non motorized water sport options. There is also a small, but very well equipped gym that was always empty when I went. You room key provides 24 hour access.

A very nice continental breakfast is complementary and you can also order hot items for an additional charge. After our first morning, the servers remembered our names and we were always greeted warmly.

As beautiful as the resort is aesthetically, it was really the employees who made it so wonderful. To the person, every employee I passed greeted me with a warm smile and hello, good day, etc. It really was genuine, not gratuitous as I've experienced other places. (actually just about everyone on the island was really friendly and helpful.)

Other great aspects of service were that the front desk staff and concierge made helped us plan our dining for every night, made all the reservations in advance and delivered a detailed dining itinerary to the room. Turn down service always included two bottles of spring water and an activities sheet for the next day. Every night the deck bar had live entertainment from 5:30-9:00. All the entertainment was top notch.

This is definitely a place we will return to. We really felt welcome and at home. The only thing that would have improved our stay was if our room was on a higher floor. We were on the first floor so we didn't have a great view of the ocean and poolside conversations came into the room with the patio door open. I enquired at the desk about a change. They graciously showed me to the only other available oceanfront studio. While it was in the top (7th) floor, it didn't have a balcony so I opted to stay in the room we had already settled in to and it was just fine.

Seven Stars was a real winner for us!
