“It's the Best !!!”

I can't believe I am writing this. We both agreed we were going to keep what a find this place is a secret from all our friends and relatives so we wont have a problem in getting a booking in the future......something that we have already started to arrange.
Our stay at Aquamarine was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing holidays we have had. We have travelled extensively in the Caribbean for both work and holidays and without a doubt this place tops the list. Why, to start Paula did everything to make our arrival as easy as possible with a taxi arranged to pick us up and her personal attention to our arrival and enjoyment for our entire stay.
The housekeeping services provide are done with the minimum of disruption to your plans for the day.....which in our case dispite earlier plans to go exploring (we'll do that next time) meant going to the beach and snorkeling with the multitude of varied and colourful fish or walking for miles on the beautiful beaches. Having our morning coffee on the beach at sunrise was the start of many beautiful and relaxing days.
Paula, John and the their staff go out of their way to make you feel at home the minute you arrive. The atmosphere is such that it isn't long before you refer to returning to the hotel as "going home". As others have indicated restuarants, food and liquor supplies are within walking distances so I wont go into details.
If you need to relax, get a tan, read a couple of books, swim with tropical fish, let your hair down (I couldn't, I've lost mine sometime ago) and let the world go by Aquamarine Beach Houses is what the doctor will order.....she did for me.
Sooo....If you go and see a bald old fella sitting there on the beach watching the waves say "Hi" its probably me trying to find away not to have to go back to the cold white north.
Thanks Paula and John for your hospitality and interest and help in us having a great and relaxing holiday "I shall return" or in our case "we".

“Very peaceful and relaxing”

Aquamarine is the perfect place to go if you want to have your own quiet beach, snorkeling right outside your front door, set your own schedule, do your own thing, and just be. Paula and John work really hard to make everybody's stay a great one, and the unit that we stayed in (Sunset downstairs unit) was just perfect for my husband and I. It was an easy walk to the IGA grocery store and nearby restaurants (Sharkbite Grill, Somewhere Cafe, etc.) and we loved having a full kitchen so that we could do our own thing when we wanted to. Snorkeling gear is provided, as is airport pick-up and drop-off, and there are kayaks, plenty of beach chairs, portable cabanas, etc. A convivial atmosphere was created by the other guests, but there are never so many people around that you feel crowded. A great spot; we just returned home last night, and we sincerely hope to go back.

“Relaxing, clean and beautiful”

We just returned from our second stay at Aquamarine Beach Houses. We've stayed in the two bedroom upstairs and in the one bedroom on the ground floor.
John and Paula are very gracious hosts, and help to make the stay very enjoyable.
The suites are exceptionally clean with daily housekeeping. All the amenities, for snorkeling, sea kyaking, lounging, playing catch are readily available.
The views are spectacular!!!! So few people walk down this stretch of beach so it's very private.
The IGA grocery store and liquor is an 11minute walk away. The best, meaning the largest snorkeling site is at Smiths reef is a 25 minute beach walk away; or if you're lazy just go out front, it's very nice snorkeling there.
If you want to go out for lunch or dinner, it's 15 minutes to Somewhere bar at Coral Gardens, two for one beers starting at 4:30 or 20 minutes the other way to Sharks Bite bar at Turtle Cove for Grouper or snapper.
No need for a car when you stay here. Pick up the groceries on your way from the airport and hang loose!! We'll be back!

Room Tip: Go with another couple and pick the upstairs two bedroom, great view, great value!! Lots of room!!

My mother and I stayed here over the Christmas holidays. Grace Bay beach was by far the nicest beach we have ever visited. Peaceful/ Serene/ Tranquil sums up Aquamarine Beach Houses and Grace Bay as a whole. Paula was extremely hospitable. Would go back in a heart beat. Great snorkeling right out front!
