We spent 3 nights in this little hotel when hurricane Irene was lashing the Turks and Caicos Islands. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The room itself was fine- clean and functional with a decent sized bathroom and shower. All efforts were made to keep the guests comfortable, including placing candles in the rooms for when the power went off in the storm.
As soon as the storm had passed, the staff were out cleaning the debris and making the pool usable again.
I really could not fault anything about this hotel and its staff. I look forward to returning in better weather sometime!

This is a budget hotel, but one of the better ones I've stayed in. I was there for 10 days in June for a holiday and this hotel suited me perfectly. It's basic, but has everything you need, is well located and clean. I had a top floor room with a lovely view of the marina. The restaurant in the complex shut down on my 3rd night there, but I didn't really go there anyway, instead I rate Sharkbite bar and grille, 2 mins walk round the corner.
Turtle Cove is well located on the island, between the shops, Grace Bay beach, the airport etc. and it's not as touristy as the top end of Grace Bay where most of the hotels are.
If you want a Caribbean resort experience, this is probably not the place for you, but for anyone on a budget and especially with access to a car, this will suit your needs just fine.

I spent one night here as I had a layover for a flight to one of the out islands. I was only there one night and was not going to have time to hit the beach, so I wanted the best value. This is it. As they state on their website, no frills. The hotel is close to the airport and located at the marina. It was very clean (to the point of smelling like bleach). The sheets/towels were scratchy and the bed was hard, but is is a budget hotel. But as I said, it was very clean which is something most budget hotels lack. I like clean! It has a nice pool area and is walking distance to some pretty good restaurants and fishing guides. Provo Turtle Divers is at this marina (I have dove with them and do recommend them). I recommend the hotel if you are looking for a great value and are there to fish or dive. if you plan on going out on the water all day, come back and have a few drinks, dinner, sit poolside, and pass out from exhaustion, I recommend it. If you are there to hang out for a beach vacation, I would stay elsewhere. You can drive to the beach, but whats the point. Plus you will want better accommodations and view. That said, I do recommend it if it fits what you are looking for. Read their website as it is very accurate.

We just returned from our stay here and were very pleased. Turtle Cove is centrally located so we could get anywhere on the island quickly. The hotel was clean, had very pleasant helpful staff and was a fantastic value. The pool and garden area were great. Had a restaurant on site that also provided live entertainment two nights a week. Could easily walk to multiple restaurants around the marina for other options if you want. We walked the beach every day since access to the beach was so close...and the best snorkeling reef on the island is just on the other side of the marina. I would recommend renting a car if you plan to sight see around the island because the taxi prices are high. Well worth the price. If your diving the operators pick you up at the hotel.
