We had the best time at the Crabtree. We kept saying this is one website that does not do justice to the beauty. The warmth of the sun, the sound of the waves and the feel of the breeze is just something that can't be captured by the photos. It is completely relaxed . No fast food and no one pestering you on the beach. Tshirts and shorts were the fanciest we got. The cruise ship docking were completely a none is issue. We maybe had one or two people walk by on the beach a day. We would step off the porch onto the beach having our coffee and swim, snorkel and read all day. The locals were all so very kind and helpful. We found our "spot" for dinner at the Sandbar. My children who did not like fish, LOVED their fish. We went scuba diving, and snorkeling, and simply enjoyed the sun and the surf. It turned out that the three families at the Crabtree took a snorkeling trip together for a conch lunch on a beach where we swam with stingrays and enjoyed a wonderful meal of the fresh conch. It was a wonderful day trip. When we got on the plane to go home, we already started thinking of when we can get back there. We will definetly be back.

Our experience at Crabtree seems to mirror what many others have already said: it was great. We've been taking diving trips to the Caribbean for several years now and this was by far the nicest accommodations that we've had. The apartment was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. Grand Turk doesn't offer a wide selection of dining options so being able to cook at home was a huge benefit and all the basic kitchen supplies were there. The bikes made getting around the island very easy and have attached baskets to facilitate trips to the grocery store. There are even some very sweet resident dogs for those who miss pets at home (although they will keep their distance if not invited on the porch for some attention).

We will certainly stay at Crabtree next time we're on Grand Turk.

I recently travelled to Grand Turk for the first time, and stayed at Crabtree Apartments. Our stay was simply perfect. The apartment had everything we needed, including eggs, juice, toast and coffee for the first morning, which we all thought was a great touch! The furnishings were lovely, spotless, and up-to-date, and set against the ever-present georgious view of the ocean just steps away made it just heavenly!! The bedrooms were beautiful - one with a king, the other with a set of twins - both roomy, airy, with nice windows for the ocean breezes as well as ceiling fans, closet space and bureaus. The bathroom was as nice as any I've seen and clean as a whistle. The patio off the living and master bedroom also not only had a comfy set of table/chairs, but also a set of outdoor wicker sofa/chairs from which to watch the mesmerizing view of that aqua water while sipping the pina coladas! The water was so clear and clean, the temperature was exactly right - cool enough to be refreshing, but warm enough to coax us in.

The island itself is charmingly rustic, with no commercialsim whatsoever. The island restaraunts provided great dinners and some lively local entertainment which was such fun. SEveral eateries were within an easy walk from Crabtree, so no car is needed.

I would very highly recommend Crabtree Apartments if you are looking for a good rest, and a private ocean experience in this part of paradise!!

This modern beach front apartment included all that is necessary for comfortable vacation lodging. From the moment I stepped through the front door and witnessed the view ahead to the time of departure, I was struck with both the warm and practicial furnishings of our Crabtree Apartment. The added touches were not missed; butter, eggs and milk in the refrigerator and bread and bottled water on the counter. I would recommend this to those looking for a quiet vacation where the warm sand and the torquoise water of the Carribean are steps from the porch.
