“Awesome Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2011

The Grand Turk in is a top-notch guest house. Katrina and Donovan (key staff member) are excellent hosts. Both possess a complete knowledge of the island as well as many other insights into all things Turks and Caicos. I highly recommend the Grand Turk Inn for its location, beauty, and, most importantly, the attention to detail. The goal of my visit was to research family history and I would not have been able to accomplish my goal without Katrina’s input. I am very satisfied and plan to return as soon as I can.

“Lovely Bed and Breakfast! Beautiful island!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2011

My husband and I traveled to Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon. We were looking for a quiet, non-touristy place to scuba dive. Katrina provided the perfect lodging in Grand Turk Inn! It was very welcoming and relaxing. We had a room that opened out onto the sun deck and ate breakfast out there every morning. Breakfast typically consisted of yogurt, fruit, and bagel/english muffin with coffee and juice. The bed and breakfast was just a short walk down to a great local bar with the best grouper. There was also a small little beach where our dive guide picked us up every morning. Best vacation I've ever taken! Just don't think you'll be staying at an all-inclusive resort. Dining is VERY limited and cooking at the bed and breakfast was an option as our room had a kitchen. Also, take cash with you to the island! Very few ATMs there and very few places accept credit/debit cards.

“It doesn't any better than this...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2010

My wife and I just returned from spending a week at the Grand Turk Inn and it was nothing short of fantastic. We had originally planned on staying in Provo, but under advice from a friend at our local dive shop who had lived on Grand Turk, we changed our whole itinerary. After a preliminary search on travel websites, Trip Advisor postings made it clear there was only one place to stay on Grand Turk – The Grand Turk Inn.

Upon arriving on the island, it was easy to tell that the pace was laid back and relaxing. When we got to the Inn, we were greeted by Katrina (the owner), given a tour of our room and the patio, and immediately felt right at home.

We were fortunate to have the Flamingo room available to us for the entire week. This particular room opens to the community sundeck and has a spectacular view of the ocean and the amazing sunsets. The room was everything we expected and more. Each room was furnished with island charm, everything was very clean, and it was really convenient having the in suite kitchen just in case we wanted to stay in and cook for ourselves if we didn’t feel like going out.

Katrina and Donavon were extremely helpful whenever we needed anything. Whether we needed directions, restaurant suggestions, or just an umbrella for a daytrip…they had it covered. In fact, it was the Inn’s website that suggested using Blue Water Divers for diving and snorkeling trips. Being an amateur diver, making a bad choice of dive guides can make or break a trip and these folks were great.

We’re already sorting out our future trip plans and Grand Turk is on the list. After spending time at the Grand Turk Inn, we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Thanks for everything Katrina; we look forward to seeing you again!!

“Grand Turk Inn is the best place to stay on the island”

My husband and I loved our stay at the Grand Turk Inn. Before we came, I had reviewed the comments regarding all the hotels on the island and decided that we had to stay at the Grand Turk Inn. Many of the comments for the other hotels were rather negative and when we visited some of them during our stay we were glad that we had chosen to stay where we did. Sandy who runs the hotel is great - she is very hospitable, charming and helpful with whatever you need. We stayed in the Flamingo Room upstairs and enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out at the beautful view of the ocean. The beach is just across the street. The room is a full suite with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. More than we really needed but very nice. Since it had a full kitchen, we were able to stock the fridge with bottled water, wine and snacks from the local stores. There are ceiling fans and an A/C to keep you cool. Sandy brings you a continental breakfast at the time you request between 8 AM and 10 AM which is included in the room rate.

Another important point is that the Inn is central to everything - so you can walk to the restaurants, stores etc. unlike the Bohio which is a bit removed from everything. Not that there are a lot of stores, restaurants, etc.. but still what is available is nearby.

The diving was excellent - Blue Water divers comes and picks you up right across the street which is very convenient and the diving (the wall) is only about 10 minutes away. There is a beautful beach there where you can swim and snorkel.

Overall, we had a great and relaxing time.. We will definitely recommend Grand Turk Inn to others. The only problem right now which I'm sure will be resolved soon is that cable TV is not working due to hurrican IKE - so the inn is without TV - but we didn't really care!

“Best hotel/inn on Grand Turk!”

I can not brag on Sandy and Katrina enough. They made sure our visit was as special and relaxing as anyone could ever want. Sandy loaned me a cell phone to call her anytime, and to call home. They know everyone on the island, and will tell you where to go for diving (Blue Water), chinese (chinese Joan's), massage, groceries, or whatever.
The Grand Turk Inn is so beautiful. The rooms were simple luxury. I loved having the kitchen in our room, we cooked grouper almost every night. I stayed in the conch cottage, it is basically a seperate apartment with it's own entrance.
There is a little beach right in front of the hotel that we had all to ourself. Great snokeling (they will loan you gear) right out front.
I would recommend the Grand Turk Inn for a romantic vacation for couples, diving parties, girlfriends vacations.
Probably not the best place for families with young children (they will be bored).
We looked at many of the hotels (there are not many) while we were there. Grand Turk Inn is undoubtable the best.
Many thanks to Sandy and Katrina from Cody and Heather
