Since going under new management in May 2007 Mount Pleasant has undergone many changes. There is no longer a restaurant but it still has rooms to rent for holiday makers. The en-suite rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean. The owners are excellent hosts, very friendly and will do all they can to ensure a wonderful stay in their house. Mount Pleasant is on the very quiet island of Salt Cay which can be accessed by small aeroplane or boat. If you are looking for a slower pace of life for your holidays then this is the ideal place. The gorgeous beaches are deserted and the only hustle bustle is the locals going about their business at the nearby dock. There are some great restaurants and bars nearby and the chance to go whale watching, diving and snorkelling practically on the house's doorstep. The sun always shines and you couldn't ask for a more relaxing break than on the 'island that time forgot'.
