“Thanskgiving Day in Paradise!!”

We felt so lucky finding the Blue Waters Inn on Thanksgiving Day and having the opportunity to spend our last 3 days at this beautiful resort......

In a spur of the moment, decided to spend Thanksgiving week in Tobago. We arranged the trip through a dive shop in the area where we live. Will never do that again - stayed at the Manta Lodge which was a disaster - more on that in the review I'll post on their TA site.

Thanksgiving day we walked to Blue Waters Inn and fell in love! The location, restaurant, facilities and service are beautiful and couldn't believe the disparity between the 2 resorts. Especially after we requested to view a room and realized that the accomodations were half the price of Manta Lodge! At first it looked like they couldn't find a room but we received our Thanksgiving and actually stayed in a room that was just finished in their recent renovations (first guests to stay in our room facing the sea -aaahhhh)!

The resort is in a great location, hidden in a reef that is stunning and private. The restaurant was good and service was excellent. As mentioned Blue Waters is completing a renovation and the new rooms/resort facilities are beautiful. They are adding an infinity pool which looks out at the sea (should be completed any day). I also spent a few days diving with shop on the premises - they were great and took us on a couple of stunning dives.

So, lesson learned on this trip: book yourself, read reviews and know what you are paying for.... Will definitely be staying at Blue Waters again!!

“perfect location, low key,friendlyand relaxed”

We stayed here with friends for 4 days in November after a sailing trip round the island . Having called in first by boat we were concerned that the ongoing renovations and construction of the infinity pool would disrupt our stay.Nothing could be further from the truth. Even the humming birds which visit all the rooms daily were not disturbed. The pool. almost ready, looks splendid. Our room right beside the sea was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. Staff were friendly and Jason the manager, was always on hand but unobtrusive. We just thought it was perfect.

“Secluded and relaxing”

We found this to be so relaxing. We felt like we had a private beach. Everything is laid back, so you truly get an islander feel and holiday. They had just renovated some of the rooms, which were needed, and plans were to redo all the rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and they all faced the water. The dive shop is right there, so it makes it easy to schedule and go out on dives. The staff was friendly. They can make arrangements for you to hire a "taxi" to drive you to sights on the island or if you want a change of pace for dinner.

“Great Ambience, must return”

My stay was very short but relaxing. The beach is the best in Tobago along with the wonderful things to do at the resort such as Kayaking, glass bottom reef tours, snorkelling, scuba-diving, lovely jetty with Gazebo to relax and enjoy the crystal clear water. The food was great and the room was beautifully equipped with modern furniture and appliances. Clean and spacious. Must go back again.

“Nice private resort right on the beach”

We had a really lovely stay here, room was spacious, clean and the air-con was very effective (unlike other places we stayed at), with huge, comfy bed. The sea was refreshing to swim in in the sheltered bay with a sandy sea bottom, so now worries about rocks.

The food was pretty over priced for what it was. There wasn't much choice and always several items (always fish) were off the menu. But what we did have was tasty.

The trips offered were really good, especially the trip to Little Tobago and the rainforests - definitely recommend.
