“I stay here all the time, wouldnt have it any other way!”

I'll give you as clear a description as I can - I have stayed here about 4 and looking to be 5 times and I love it. Its not within walking distance of the beach and has a shady road to get to it, but it is well nestled away from other places... its a very quiet and romantic place and very much a place to go with a nice group of ppl and have a nice time. The villas are lovely, esp the larges white ones on the hill...they were fabulous! i also like villa honey bee for the 3 bedrooms... I'd say ask for the more modern villas because some of them need updating. In the years that I have visited u can see a lack of funding/maintenance has affected the villas, but they still r my favourite:) The 3-bedrm villas have a small pool and bbq area, and the villa is very lovely inside....there's also some places nearby (a walk up and down the hills tho!) where u can have some pizza, ice cream and play some pool......

“Loved Sanctuary Villa Resort”

My family and I stayed at Villa Nirvana, Sanctuary Villa Resort for 5 days. Overall the accomodation was outstanding ... clean, well maintained, all required comforts. The housekeeping service was prompt. Of particular mention is the surrounding grounds which is large, well maintained and gives the impression of being in one's own little piece of paradise. Sunset views are beautiful from this Villa. The private plunge pool is also very convenient. Two minor things could be done to enhance an already great place: pave the little piece of road to Villa Nirvana, install some compound lights.

Thank you for a great vacation!

  • Liked — Location, amenities, landscaped surroundings!
  • Disliked — Limited compound lights (driving in for the first time at night could be somewhat trying)

“Loved it!!!”

6 of us stayed in the Honey Bee sweet. The place was very nice. Very modern. The furniture was great. Everything worked perfect. 4 washrooms. A/C with remote. TV with a good amount of channels. A mini-pool in the backyard. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer. BBQ.

Everything is within driving distance. You will not need to drive more than 10 min for anything.

The maid service was top notch. she cleaned out place for at least 3 hours a day. She did the dishes, mopped the floor, did the beds... everything.

The only thing that bothered me a bit was that it was a pretty long walk to the beach, so we had to drive. But we were in a gated community with a security guard present at all times.

  • Liked — Clean and modern
  • Disliked — distance from beach

“Great Value for Money”

My family are regular users of Sanctuary Villas, I personally have stayed there three times, the most recent for my wedding trip. I have stayed in the Rumagin and Sugarbird villas, both are extremely spacious, with good facilities. I would say that villas could benefit from some cosmetic work, some new kitchen appliances and bathroom facilities. Private pools, bbq patios are a great alternative to crowded beach resorts. Only other complaint is that one family in our wedding party were told days before they arrived that their jacuzzi/plunge pool was not working, and that they would need to pay an extra $US100 per night if they wanted to change rooms. Would recommend renting a car if you are staying here, as restaurants, grocery stores, and better beaches are all spread out and up to 15 min away. Great for a family vacation, we will see Sanctuary villas again soon.

“Very Good Value”

My wife and I rented Villa #1, a 3 bedroom/4 bath and since there were only 2 of us we paid the 1 bedroom rate, not the 3 bedroom rate.
The plunge pool was delightful, far larger than the one we had on St. Lucia at the Jaluosie. We lived on the deck and cooked on the grill
The kitchen had all appliances that worked well, cable TV, and no high speed internet access, but there are plenty of 'cafes' around charging only $2.25US/hr.
The queen size bed was comfortable, bathroom clean with ample hot water, A/C in bedrooms, not common areas but ceilling fnas were quite adequate.
The villa in general was a bit worn, aging but for a week was wonderful. If it were mine I would do some painting and put in some new appliances, clean and/or replace cushions; purely cosmetic though.
The beach right down the street at Black Rock/Grafton is one of the nicest on the island and uncrowded.
We visited Plantation Beach Villas and Stonehaven Villas and if we were splitting the villa with 1-2 other couples I'd go to one of them in a second.
However for the $195/night I'd stay at Sanctuary again, can't beat the value.
