Sunset Valley is one of the most peaceful places on earth. You are awakened by the birds and after breakfast on the verandah you only have to take about 15 paces to the sun lounger, bliss. The beds are comfortable, the showers are great, the kitchen is really well equipped...what more could anyone ask for. Add to that that Donna and Daryl are the best hosts you could want, there when you need them but never intruding and you couldn't ask for a better holiday.

Sunset Valley Estate is an amazing place to stay, with stunning balcony views of Englishman's Bay and a wonderful pool to cool off in. Our children-13,10 and 4 absolutely loved it! You could spend 2 weeks just in the villa, swimming, relaxing, taking in the vista and spotting exotic birds, but we chose to go out on daily adventures - fishing, snorkelling, Rainforest Treks, Beach BBQ's and we were overwhelmed by the beauty of this island.
It was helpful to have the local knowledge of the owners- Moms and Shauna and we also appreciated their baking treats!
We have returned to the UK refreshed and full of fantastic memories!

I just returned from Sunset Valley Estate and cannot begin to describe how wonderful it was. The views are astounding. The property is so beautiful, well-kept, and sparkling clean. The hospitality provided by Moms and Pops made us feel right at home. Pops took us for a hike and everyday brought fresh fruit from the trees on the grounds. It was amazing. Every night at dusk, thousands of birds would return the roost in the trees on the property. It was so serene. Englishman's Bay is close enough to walk to and has wonderful snorkeling and bathing. Both Castara and Parlatuvier villages are very close and the locals are most hospitable. I highly recommend this property to anyone.

When I think about a dream vacation, I imagine beautiful beaches, tropical plants swaying in the breeze, fascinating wildlife, and hospitable people. I found all of this and more at Sunset Valley Estate in Tobago.

When my friends and I first saw the view from the house in the daylight, we thought we had come to Fantasy Island! In addition to the fabulous view (Caribbean and Englishman's Bay on one side, Rain Forest on the other), you can watch hummingbirds, parakeets, parrots and many other birds.

There is something for everyone here: relaxing pool, hammocks, beautiful scenery everywhere, wonderfully open bedrooms, and of course, the kindness and exceptional hospitality of Mom and Pop in our "home away from home".

This was our second trip to Tobago and to SVE. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tobago. Part of the fun each day was telling Mom and Pop about our adventures and then relaxing every evening out on the balcony overlooking the Caribbean. This place is really secluded, peaceful and safe. You may find that you want to spend all of your time at the house, but if you decide to explore the island, you will definitely need a car.

Tobago is a wonderful place to go hiking, snorkeling, swimming, exploring or just relaxing - whatever you feel like doing. You've got to check it out. You won't be sorry -- ever!!
