This budget property is located in downtown Hillsbourough within walking distance of restaurants and shops. My apartel was spacious with a nice kitchenette.The supermarket downstairs made it easy to access groceries since there is no restaurant on premises.Although it is in town , the rooms are very quiet and privateand the proprietor is very accommodating even offering airport service

We stayed at Kim's Plaza for 2 nights before carrying on north to Mayreau.
We had a room with a double bed which was just US$35 a night. The room was a bit small but everything was there, including self catering facilities, A/C, en suite bathroom - even internet. There was a small balcony but we were at the back so there wasn't really any reason to sit on it - no view to speak of, but it was handy for hanging up the swimming costumes to dry. The number of cooking utensils was a bit limited, but when we asked the owner, what we wanted was provided from the shop downstairs.
It is just a few yards up the road from the jetty so is well located for the ferry, too.
If we were staying a bit longer, we would probably go for one of the larger rooms at $50 a night for a bit more space and possibly a better view from the balcony, but otherwise, it's an ideal place for a short break in Hillsborough.
