Clean and beautiful, but isolated. Its real purpose is to house Tradewinds cruise club crew between charters. The building is the club's office. Once the office closes - just as soon as the catamarans sail on Saturday morning - everyone leaves the building which stays totally isolated and deserted. If you are the lucky one paying full price to stay there, you have no way of communicating with the water taxi to go anywhere. No services nearby, no food, no restaurants. One or two grim neighborhood hangouts - bars, strictly for locals, behind the building at a neighborhood not meant for outsiders (and best avoided). No way of getting dinner, lunch or breakfast, no swimming nearby - it is located in the edges of the port.
And all the time being just across from one of the more beautiful small hotels in the world, with a restaurant to boot: the Frangipani, and its counterpart, the Gingerbread. Save yourself the aggravation and book at either of these two. Avoid the TW by the Sea and Marina
