Five of us were lucky to stay at Fauvelle in Spring on Bequia. The house is stunning with amazing views from the house, a fantastic warm breeze blows through it which is so nice and much better than air conditioning, my favourite part is the outside garden room which is covered and has hanging chairs which are great to relax in to look at the view but are so comfy that you often fall asleep. The garden and pool are perfectly placed and very private, all in all being on Bequia was made more special by staying at Fauvelle as it feels so much like going home everytime you returned to it. If your looking for a stunning house to stay on Bequia then try Fauvelle.

Fauvelle is quite simply the most amazing place I've ever been lucky enough to holiday in, and I've been fortunate to stay in some amazing places. The views are breathtaking; it was a joy to wake up every morning and watch the sunrise across the bay from one of the three verandas! As well as offering incredible views, Fauvelle's lofty location means that a welcome breeze tends to take the edge off the midday sun. And the ample space, foliage, and high walls make you feel like you're the only people staying on the island. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough - might end up back there at some point!

When you first walk into Fauvelle you cannot believe what you see! The house is out of this world and the views are spectacular!

Based in a quiet part of the island, it is easy walking distance to the hub of activity. However, if that is not for you then you can take a leisurely 5 minute walk to nearby Spring Beach (which you are likely to have to yourself).

The apartment itself is so big it can comfortably accommodate a large group of friends / family. At the same time if there are only two of you it does not feel like you could get lost as the place is split into two apartments, as well as the main area of the house. What we couldnt believe is that we had TWO swimming pools!!!

The advice that we received on the island (everything from where to hire cars & what trips you could do, to where you can buy beer!) was brilliant and made everything so easy.

I cant thank the owners of Fauvelle enough for our fabulous holiday.

My advice is if you are going to stay anywhere in Bequia stay here!

We stayed at Fauvelle last June and found it to be a perfect holiday retreat. It's located in Spring Bay, which is the quieter, less populated side of the island where many expats live. It is a 20-30 minute leisurely walk from the house to the harbor. The harbor is the "downtown" area of Bequia, though "town" is a bit of a stretch on this adorable, quaint island of just a few roads!

The best part of the experience at Fauvelle is relaxing on the front porch and enjoying the view over Spring Bay and the neighboring coconut plantation. It's absolutely stunning and so peaceful. There's always a breeze, too, so we spent a lot of time lazing about and reading on the front porch or swimming in the house pool.

Though just two of us stayed in the master bedroom on this trip, it's a big house meant for entertaining and we'd love to return with two other couples. The downstairs area even has its own entrance and another pool!

We would DEFINITELY stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.
