We only stayed at Fairview for 2 nights and were made to feel very welcome and at home. The room was lovely, large and comfortable with a great view from the balcony outside, although it could have done with air con! The location was excellent as it was walking distance from Kingstown. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful and even helped me retrieve my mobile phone which i had accidently left on the plane! The continental breakfast which was included in the price was great and was the best we recieved out of all the guest houses we stayed at on our trip in the Caribbean!
If travelling to Union Island i would advise staying in the beach house also owned by the owners of Fairview as it was a great little retreat, just a shame we couldnt stay there longer!

To cut a long story short we were on a 2 week Caribbean cruise. The first island we landed at was St Vincent & only planned stopping for the day before sailing on. Unfortunately I had an accident on the island and ended up in hospital.
The port agent for our cruise line recomended 'Fairview' for my wife to stay until I was released from hospital. After I came out of the hospital we both ended staying there for 3 full days.
I cannot thank highly enough the owners of 'Fairview'. Everything about the guesthouse was first class and Walter, Kym & their staff would do anything to help you [as we know after they very kindly helped us get back to England].
If we ever went to stay in St Vincent it would be at the 'Fairview' - highly recomended.
The rooms are excellent as are the facilities.Walter's evening meals are highly recomended.

We arrived at this hotel at almost midnight, after Cobblestone Inn had 'lost' our booking, on the recommendation of a friendly taxi driver. We were delighted we took his advice.

We had the last room in the place. They knew we were desperate for a room and it was during the cricket World Cup warm up matches, so they could have ripped us off. But they didn't. We arrived in a fairly wound up state after a less than pleasant experience at Cobblestone Inn and were immediately made very welcome. The bartender had been about to go home but happily stayed while we had a drink and a chat to a local. Suddenly St Vincent seemed more pleasant than it had been an hour before!

The room was simple but spotlessly clean and well-equipped, complete with nice toiletries. All rooms have air con and there is also complimentary wireless internet, which we did not have time to use. We needed to leave early in the morning, but getting us an early breakfast was no problem - again a friendly welcome, and a simple but generous spread of juice, pastries, cereals. And we enjoyed a the view over the harbour that we had been unable to see in the dark the previous night.

These people have only recently opened and have no website at present. On our experience, they deserve to succeed. We will definitely stay again if on St Vincent.
