Our family stayed at the Ocean View Resort for two nights in the month of August for a family wedding held on the grounds.
The brochure mailed out to us differs greatly from the actual rooms. The headboard was FALLING off the wall as was the "night stand" between the beds. The locks on the doors did not work, and the bathroom was very dated and full of mildew due to the lack of ventalation. When the toliet became clogged, sevice brought a plunger and expected us to plunge the toliet. When asked for additional towels, it took 2 1/2 hours! Alarm clock, hairdryer, and tolietries are not provided. Stay elsewhere!

This place is an excellent and affordable alternative for lodging in Charlestown Bay , the main port of Canouan.
It is located right on the beach with a great view and adjacent to the Moorings with nightly rates half of the price of the other main alternative for charterers who must spend the night waiting to catch their early morning American Airlines flight.
Gus and his wife are delightful people and give this place the personal touch we were hoping for at the end of our sail. The rooms were clean and simple and nice.
The have a small boutique and internet access and helped us with our transportation. A small turtle farm is near the ocean on the property.
The island itself is undergoing huge changes with the Trump organization transformation of the two main resorts on the small island of 1500 residents.
This place keep the local flavor alive.
