We stayed there in 2010 and it was so nice we got married there. So going back, we booked 2 ocean view rooms almost 2 months in advance. According to their website ocean view is $99 per night. They told us $120 so we had to point out the website price to get the $99 to start with. We were told we would get an email confirmation which never came so we called a few times to confirm, the last time being the day before our trip. We were told not to worry.
We got there and not only were our rooms not ready, the only rooms they had to rent, they said (place was empty) were awful. As the manager showed us around, each room was worse than the last. We were tired and the airline (Liat) lost some of our luggage so we just picked the best one and stayed the night. We were told we had to pay the same rate as the rooms we booked, even though they didn't have ocean view. They didn't have any appliances, not even a fridge, no mirror or electrical outlets in the bathrooms and no surfaces to place anything, so everything we had went on the floors. The balconies had no chairs and the beach at the balconies was littered with trash. For a place with no hot water, they have alot of nerve charging $99 per night US to begin with.
We asked them to bring us at least bar fridges and they promised to the next day. When we returned the next day from having to travel to St. Kitts to get our luggage, it was evening and there were still no fridges in our rooms.
We found a really nice place called Philsha's with kitchens, hot water and on and on. I am writing a review on it.
Pinney's made us pay a "2 night minimum" which is wrong considering they did the "bait and switch" with us. We got soaked $400 US for 1 night for rooms that were not worth $15. We found out the place is in receivership and the management company is the problem.
