4th floor...great h2o view; middle of 5 & 7/8 mile beach ! Hotel is next to the "torn-down" Beach Club Colony. Stayed for a month & will stay longer in 2013.....living in Maine gets you in the mood for that sought of thing.

Steep prices, but quality and comfort in balance.
Excellent, warm and kind staff.
Food to my liking at high standards.
Music in hotel and surroundings at world class level.
It will be my pleasure to return to this hotel ( if I can afford it ).
Don't know why people use the local expression " Ay Martin )

The suites are very roomy and ver clean. Ask for a room with a full size balcony a room on or above the 4th floor. The staff was very helpful. Shandi at the front desk was the best!!! The pool bartender gave us some great restaurant recommendations.

This hotel is the beach suites portion of the old Hyatt. The balance of the hotel is sitting vacant as the result of a hurricane. The portion not used is not connected to the beach suites. This results in less people using the pool beach. NO CROWDS!!!! As compared to the Marriott, Westin and Ritz..... The beachs at these places were packed like sardines!! My wife and I walked down to the Ritz for a drink. Could not find a seat and two Pinacoldas were $ 40 USD.

We were pleased to come back to the Beach Suites where we could relax and enjoy great service. Another benefit of this resort is that the resort is all on the beach. Versus the Ritz is spread out and requires much walking.

If you show your appreciation by tipping for good service -- you will be wel taken care of.

Loved the place. The breakfast pancakes might be the best in the world. They really need to cut down the over grown palm trees that block the ocean views for most rooms. Otherwise it was all good.
