Our family of 4 stayed at Lacovia in March of 2011. The units are very spacious and the property is centrally located on Seven Mile Beach. Now that the Beach Club is gone (being replaced by Watercolours) the beach in front of Lacovia is very private. The pool and tennis courts are great also. This was our second trip to Lacovia and we loved it. We stayed in an oceanfront unit on the first floor. It was great to be able to wlak out right onto the beach and into the water. The staff at the complex is great and very helpful. Overall, we love Lacovia and will be back again.

My family and I have stayed at Lacovia during our last several visits to Grand Cayman. We return because the beach is gorgeous, it's a great location and the rooms are always clean. Security is constantly walking the grounds so not really much to worry about. The pool is small, but why spend time in the pool when the beach is phenomenal? There is no spa but you're only a quick walk to La Mer spa located at the Beach Suites or the Westin or The Ritz down the road. Rooms 100% need an update in terms of decor but the rooms have always been spotless and housekeeping comes every day. Managers on duty are generally very friendly and helpful. Only two complaints are that the beds were not the best and most nights myself as well as some other had some trouble sleeping.

LaCovia is by far one of the best condo complexes AND beaches the Grand Cayman Islands has to offer. My family has been going to Grand Cayman for the past 15 years, and we have stayed at LaCovia ever since. We've gotten so comfortable with the place that we now have a specific condo we love to stay in. If you go, try to get Condo #2. It's just been recently renovated and updated and it's an oceanfront condo. LaCovia is also in a happening area so you can walk to just about any place.

We made our reservations last August for our trip this March for my family of five. When we arrived on Saturday we were put in Unit 16, a very nice two bedroom unit overlooking the beach. Everything was very good until 7:15am on Monday morning when the heavy equipment and hammering started on the construction site right next door, literally 30 feet from the windows. When I spoke with Sandra she told me that the construction wasn't supposed to start until 8:00am. Apparently the construction crew didn't get the memo. The hammering and heavy equipment started every morning at 7:15 am so if you want to sleep in or want a cup of coffee on the deck you will want to avoid unit 16. Aside from the construction, the complex was very clean and the beach is beautiful and in a very good location.
