My friend & I stayed @ the Casa Caribe the week of October 17th - October 24th. Prior to arrival, I was in contact with Neal & Effie. They were both most helpful and accomodating. We stayed in Unit #5, beachfront and ground level. The condo was beautiful , spotless and right on the beach. We were the only ones on our beach the entire week. I would highly recommend this condo, there wasn't a thing to complain about. It is a smaller condo complex which was nice. My next trip back to the Cayman Islands, I will be staying @ the Casa Caribe. This was the best holiday I have ever had, and 7 mile beach is breathtaking! The people in the Cayman Islands are the nicest people. Needless to say, I have found my vacation destination. Thank-you Effie & Neal!

We just returned from our first trip to Grand Cayman & stayed in Unit #1 at Casa Caribe. Even though this unit is not advertised as "Oceanfront"--there is still an amazing view of the beach/ocean from the living room, screened in porch, and master. The owners have the entire place decorated beautifully & have everthing you need in the kitchen (bottle openers, wine glasses, blender, etc), as well as DVDs, puzzles, games & books. We traveled during the off-season & unfortunately had 3 days of "Tropical Storm Nicole"--but still enjoyed ourselves. As written in many other reviews, Casa Caribe sits in a great spot on 7-Mile Beach, is not crowded, and is in close proximity to the Grocery/Liquor store and many other attractions. Restaurant suggestions: Copper Falls (amazing dinner), Sunshine Grill (best lunch all week), Paradise Cafe (best conch fritters, great frozen drinks). Must do: rent a car & drive around the island out to Rum Point!

We stayed in #3 which was ground level. Master bedroom and living room opened to the beach. It was awesome to walk 20 steps to the water. The 2 toddlers loved opening the door and runnning out on the sand. The condo was very spacious, I think 2 families could fit comfortably in #3. It is not luxurious by any means but very nice. The pool sucked, it was behind the condo and the waterfall did not work.

The beach in front of Casa Caribe was not rocky, it started getting rocky the next condo over. We walked in front of the westin and Ritz and their beach was covered with chairs. Their water was also roped off and only allowed you a little swimming area because of the many jet skis that were being rented. Seeing that made me very happy that we stayed at Casa Caribe. Casa Caribe's beach is the same size as those hotels with far less commotion.

Unit #18 at the Casa Caribe has a really nice and spacious interior with all of the amenities. It also has a very large screened-in porch with a view of the beach and ocean. The exterior is very well maintained and has a nice pool and jacuzzi. The Casa Caribe is in a great location for grocery, restaurant & bar establishments nearby. The beach is fabulous and the water is clear...the best I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy.
