Great location nice beach a little crowded nice clean rooms garden view was nice. Work out room was good a bike treadmills elipticals a bench some wieghts all you need for a good work out. Great people Cesar,Anna,Julie,Leonard were all supper helpful. Redsail treated us good. Walk in to town was about 2 miles or bus was easy. All the people we met guest, locals and employes of Marriott were so good to be around it made the trip that much bettter. And Grand cayman is beautiful with lots to do above and below water. Goerge town is closed on sundays and full of cruise ship people tuesday tru thursday so keep that in mind if you do or don't like crowds.

Our first trip to Grand Cayman Island. Our first beach destination trip in many years. Hotel was clean, in good repair, with a friendly staff. We spent very little time actually in the hotel, really only to sleep and eat breakfast in the restaurant. Most of the time was spent on the beach. Facilities on the beach were excellent. Hard working staff set up chairs (which were plentiful - always enough chairs and towels to go around) and kept us in the shade, hydrated and with our stomachs full. The beach itself was clean (no cigarette butts or trash) , there was a snorkeling reef right smack in front of the hotel, and there was endless miles of beachfront to stroll on. We never went in the pool, though that too looked clean and not too crowded. Our room location was lousy (directly above restaurant) with an obstructed view, but we spent very little time actually in the room. This did not detract from our total vacation experience.

My wife and I and our daughter spent a wonderful holiday in October at the Marriott. It was our first trip to Grand Cayman and we will be back and we will stay at the Marriott. We used some points and my wife became an avid TA reader before the trip. She became convinced that the Marriott was a better fit for our family than the RC -- she was right. The location, the beach, the room were all up to our expectations. The staff was what blew this hotel to the top of list. Everyone was so nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. From check in through check out everyone was wonderful. We ate off the property many times, but also had some excellent meals at the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the beach restaurant area. One of the waitresses, Corina, was new but knew so much about the island, we felt very comfortable setting out to try other places, visit the Sandbar, Rum Point etc. My daughter loved her. We loved Grand Cayman and definitely will be back and will go back to the Marriott.
We were nervous about the size of the beach after reading some of the reviews. It was fine. We never had a problem getting a chair and we loved snorkeling over the man made reef.

What a wonderful resort! I found the entire resort staff to be helpful, friendly, and bending over backwards to make sure you have an amazing trip. The beaches are some of the best in the world, and the resort as well. Highly recommend!
