“Great Value”

Stayed here over the Christmas holiday when our other hotel did not pan out. The rooms are kept clean and the ladies in the office are delightful. They hosted a rum punch party one night with great food and drink. The beach just a few steps to the right of the hotel was like walking on sugar. The pool and grounds are kept immaculate. Loved this place and would go back.

We had to relocate to Plantation Village after staying at a previous condo that was over run with rats..The ladies were kind enough to take us in and help save our holiday. The two ladies that run the office are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were CLEAN, bright, and roomy, the pools were great and the beach was beautiful .. I would highly recommend this condo to Cayman Travellers.. Thanks Ladies for all you did for us and can't wait to see you again..

“Nice place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2010

good location close to town but not downtown. place was clean and view was great. service was OK, in thier defense the office was burned up the 2nd day we were there so they were working at a disadvantage. most of the attactions on the island are pretty lame. If your looking for a beach vacation then GC is a good place, that being said the beach at this resort is quite small but its not ahuge resort. Three good places for breakfast nearby, cimboco, eats and timbuctuu, last one is kinda far but worth it, more of a local place. No restaurant at the resort but plenty of places to eat nearby.

“Nice, clean place in good location”

We traded time share points to stay in this renovated 2 bedroom condo. It has an excellent location within walking distance to the grocery store (bring your own non-plastic bags). It is also in a good section of 7 mile beach and the snorkeling is pretty good right there. The best place is Cemetery beach, a short ride on the local taxi buses. This is a very functional place to stay and the staff are very nice. Good family pool.

“Great resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2010

We had a unit for 6 on the ground level facing the ocean. When we arrived the room was clean and well furnished. Flat screen TVs in master bedroom as well as the living room. The living room furniture was not very comfortable but it seem clean. The grounds were well cared for and neat. This resort does not have much of a beach, but adjoining resorts have plenty of beaches available. This resort is on the city end of the 7 mile beach and it is possible to walk into Georgetown. Bus service is available on the island and can be caught by flagging them down or going to a bus stop along street. British style driving and cars with both steering wheel placements can be rented. It does not have a restaurant but there are a few within walking distance. The office staff were helpful but not very warm or friendly. The island does offer many...many.. opportunities for fishing, scuba diving and swimming. Take plenty of money as things are expensive, especially taxis, eating out, and groceries. But it seemed to be a very safe place to enjoy a vacation. Be sure to check before going to Georgetown as to the number of cruise ships are visiting that day. We were told it can get very crowded depending on the number of ships in the harbor.
