We rented 6 of the 7 villas for 6 days. We were never met by the owner upon arrival. I can understand why. The villas are not what they appeared to be on their website. None of the six had all working appliances (fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker). Three of the villas did not have hot water. The toilet in villa #6 was duct taped together and shot water across the bathroom when flushed! We rigged up a system of towels and a bucket to stop the water.
None of the doors and very few of the windows had screens, so much for an island breeze. Ceiling fans did not work, handles were missing from many of the faucets. Many of the light bulbs were out. The property itself was a mess. Ceramic tiles, coolers strewn about.
We brought these issues to the attention of the owner and his reply was "Can't help ya today, I'll stop by tomorrow" He never did. We also endured the disdain of the employees at his restaurant for daring to complain about the issues at the villas. We spent almost an entire day fixing 3 of the water heaters and a water pump the screeched at a high pitch for 2 days. NOT worth the $200/night plus tax for a ridiculous total of $234/night times six villas times six nights = $8,424 for NO apology and a slight discount on the villa with the exploding toilet.
This is really a shame as it is a wonderful location.
