If you're on a budget and can put up with a bug here or there, this is your best bet for an inexpensive room on Virgin Gorda. If you're looking for service and amenities, look elsewhere.

Pros:
- Location (right in the middle of town; close to the ferry deck; directly across the street from a main shopping strip, banks, about 25 minute walk to the Baths, taxi stand across the street)
- Price (this is probably the cheapest place to get a room in Virgin Gorda)
- Staff is very friendly

Cons:
- Had a cockroach visitor one night
- Bare-bones room (2 beds took up almost all of the space in the room)

The Wheelhouse is by far the cheapest place to stay in Virgin Gorda. It is clean, quiet, and conveniently located in Spanish Town, though not close to a beach. The rooms are small and basic. The management is friendly and helpful. This wouldn't be the right place for a long stay but it's a great place for a short one.
