We stayed at Paradise Beach in May 2004. It is by far the most beautiful setting I've ever stayed in. Our villa was directly on the beach, and it was no big thing to walk right off the patio and into the ocean. The one-bedroom villa was plenty spacious, with a king bed in the rear and two daybeds in the living room. It was attached to another villa, so it was more like a twin, but we had no problem with noise. Our building-mates were very nice and quiet. The snorkeling right outside our door was phenomenal. Sort of a best-kept secret. The first night we got there, we went swimming, and the next morning, we put on our snorkeling gear and were astounded at the numbers of fish and the beautiful coral within feet of the water's edge. We had gone in oblivious the night before.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The staff is extremely friendly, and we even shared our lunch with the housekeepers one day.
Having said all that, the property is in need of repair. Some screens were missing. The artwork and furniture was faded and old (but comfortable). This is not a luxury place, and we were not paying luxury prices, since we stayed in the off season. I would say that the superb location, the brand new rental car included with the villa, and the fantastic beach far overshadowed any small complaints we may have had about the physical condition of the property.
Also, we thought we got breakfast on the first morning, but when we arrived, there was nothing of the sort offered.
