Sitting in the villa's great room, looking out at the ocean view as I write this review. Bigger Splash's greatest strengh is its location - an 8 minute walk to the top of the Baths (and another 10 to 15 to descend the path to the actual beach), a 5 minute walk to Mad Dog's - absolutely fabulous pina coladas, and a 15 minute drive into Spanish Town for supplies and restaurants. The house itself is pretty, vaulted wooden ceilings, a nice kitchen will all necessary equipment, a lower level with a king bedroom suite including an outdoor shower and the very pretty pool.

We managed to sleep 10 here but a few siblings shared beds. Comfortably this house will sleep 3 couples and 3 kids - not bad. There is NOT a washer and dryer available despite what the website says. We managed to find it, hidden away under a part of the house, and it was not something we wanted to use.

The rental service that manages the villa was OK, but seemed to have problems with prices and numbers - didn't know how many there were in our party, quoted different prices for an in-villa catered dinner, and lied to us about the washer dryer - insisting that there simply wasn't one when the real story is that they dont want it used by the guests so they hide it - a little weird.

In all though, for the BVI, the house was priced right, not the most expensive rental by a long shot, but pretty and well situated. Just make sure to bring some bug repellent because this indoor - outdoor house mostly doesn't have screens and there are quite a few biting insects!
