We had a wonderful week at the Agape Cottages. From our patio we enjoyed the magnificent views of the Bay framed by the luxuriant vegetation. We were within walking distance from the restaurants, but all was quite at night from our bedroom. Perfect beach for swimming, often in the company of the pelicans, terns and magnificent frigates higher in the sky. Somewhat steep slope from the beach to the cottage and the furniture was simple but very clean, which was fine with us. Donna and Tom were very helpful to get us settled and provide useful information on the island.

There seems to be a number of great options for accommodations at Cane Garden Bay so being our first visit to Tortola it was difficult to choose. Now that we have stayed at Agape Cottages we will look no farther for our next visit...

We were looking for a place with a view of Cane Garden Bay and Agape did not disappoint! The balcony of our two bedroom cottage ran the length of the cottage and with comfortable furniture became our favourite place - breakfast, reading break, sunset cocktail, even in the rain it was pleasant and enjoyable.

Everything else was a bonus!! The cottages were well equipped, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect - close to the beach and restaurants but just far enough to be private. The "climb" was only moderate exercise and well worth the view. The small store at the bottom of the hill was well stocked and convenient. The mangos were just coming into season and a great addition to breakfast.

Donna was the perfect hostess.... besides providing good information on the 'local' spots to eat and visit, she arranged any taxi's we needed and a fantastic day out snorkelling with "Aristocat". Always friendly and available to chat - we felt like guests in her home.

Don't miss the Friday night BBQ. It was a great end to a wonderful visit to the Virgin Islands.

This was my 12th trip to the Caribbean and second trip to Cane garden Bay. I chose Agape in part because of the location and views that I noticed on my previous trip. We traveled with my family and sister in-laws and all of us had a nice trip. The Tripadvisor reviews were very helpful and accurate. The views from Agape are great, the owners go out of their way to help and the location is nice right in CGB for a real authentic island vacation. If you are looking for a resort don’t stay anyplace in CBG and I think most people understand and appreciate the experience and beauty of the BVI at a place like Agape. CBG has a few fun spots to catch live music at night and a nice meal. You can jump off to Jost and other cool spots as we did almost every day with the power boat we rented for 5 days. . The people are friendly, the water is beautiful and the experience is unique, I recommend it.

Agape is a quaint and welcoming group of cottages that sit above Cane Garden Bay. It tuned out to be the perfect place for us. We liked that it is off of the beach (it is only a short walk from the cottages to the beach, although it is steep!) so we could get away from the bustle of the beachfront when we wanted some privacy. Plus, the view from our balcony was amazing! More than the privacy and view, Donna and Tom's hospitality set Agape apart from any other vacation that I have taken. They were so welcoming and helpful! Donna helped us get a rental car, gave us great recommendations for food and entertainment, made reservations for at a restaurant for us, and set up a taxi service to and from the ferry dock. We truly had a relaxing vacation. Thanks Agape for helping make our visit to Tortola an amazing one!
