My husband and I stayed at Myett's for 4 days in January. It was most pleasant and after reading some of the previous reviews I was a reluctant guest. We were very happy with our room and accommodations. When we arrived in our room it was stocked with Cokes in the fridge and a bottle of rum. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked great. Even though wifi was not promised in the room we were always able to get it. Wifi is always available in the bar and restaurant area. It is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a real Caribbean experience. Staff was fantastic and helped with all of our needs. Cheryl and Shelly in the office were great! Also, the food is great and we couldn't wait in the mornings to go down for coffee and breakfast before our morning walk on the beach.
I would definitely return to Myetts!

We visited Myett's in October for the very first time--the only disappointment we had is that we did not come here sooner! It is a wonderful, Caribbean retreat! The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable with little "extras" such a small refrigerator with a few complimentary sodas and bottles of water. There is also a complimentary bottle of rum! Wi-fi is free in bar/restaurant, which you will be there frequently because the food is awesome and the atmosphere if fun and inviting! The hotel sits nestled between tropical foliage and you truly feel like you are in the Caribbean. Cheryl, in the front office, could not have taken better care of us! She helped arrange taxis, a car rental, finding a laundromat, you name it, she did it! Vishaal and Judy, restaurant staff, could not have been more attentive or more entertaining! They also have a great gift shop on site with many locally made products. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to go back!

We stayed at Myett's for three days in the middle of July 2011. Our disappointment began within 5 minutes of arriving. That is when we found that in the moments after dropping our luggege on a bench in front of the bar at 10:30 at night our laptop computer was stolen. The hotel office was closed so they were giving us our room and we would do the check in the next morning. We were distracted just for a moment or two and that is where we discovered that the laptop went missing. We spent the next day checking with the hotel and filing a stolen property report with the police.

The room we were given was nice, with airconditioning and a private balcony. The only issue with this room, Dick's Room, was in the afernoon. Between the balcony and the beach was a large kitchen exhause that was over a beach barbique that ran all evening creating a lot of noise and smell. The balcony wasn't a place to be at that time

Over all I have stayed in worse places but I will not be going back.

Myett's is the place we stay following or preceding our sail of the BVI's. Cane Garden Bay is one of our favoite stops while cruising. It is the Caribbean without the commercialized glitz. It's beach is without question, beautiful. A 6:am swim ashore to get a morning coffee from Myett's restaurant is one of life's simple pleasures. The lobby of the 6 room hotel is a tropical rain forest. The owners Valerie and Kareem are attentive and visable. Can't wait to return.
