Reserved a cottage #3 on 31-3 Jan. 2012. Coming off a bareboat week long cruise, the hot shower with great water pressure in a LARGE tiled shower was sheer pleasure. Tucked away in a garden atmosphere with palms, huge front lawn, the cottage impressed me at first look and held up over time. Yes, the coffeemaker didn't work and there were no ice cube trays or ice...but the front desk will take the effort to make it right for you. The high points? Across from the beach (quiet on cruise days), the IPOD dock for my music, can walk to several night spots for happy hour, dinner, music and dancing. Goal was simple relaxation, punctuated by
some very happy evenings and great beach time. If you want to explore the island, rent a car-taxis are expensive. I liked the absolute ease of either eating on my patio or strolling to a beautiful outdoor casual eatery. The food is good, the service is good and the people are exceptional. It's a safe place for a solo lady with ordinary caution exercised! Highly recommended..but it is pricey compared to its neighbor, Rhymers. Since I haven't stayed there, I can't comment on the differences. Be prepared for coconuts hitting the roof in the middle of the night and a few roosters who have no clue when morning is (hey, it's the islands, !!)
