I love camping but, I also love showers and flushing toilets and bars. This spot was perfect. Went with my friend on a Wednesday. Picked up groceries in Roadtown, then, took the long taxi ride over the Island (20 min drive). There are a couple of bars that open during the day for the tourists on the beach. Night time is quiet. Boombas isn't to far away (Cane Garden Bay). We were able to get a taxi from the campground to the bar even at a late hour. The bathrooms are super clean. They didn't have hot water during our stay and said they were working on it... I am a total hot shower snob but, the water there is beach water and feels so nice. Don't waste your money on a hot water heater Lou! The tents are open wooden forts with a tarp pulled over top and a ten man tent in side with a clean freshly made mattress (we got a double + 3 pillows). We fell asleep to the beach breeze and the waves. Beach wasn't very busy which we love. Great snorkeling in the bay. Hammocks all over the place. And! The had coffee in the morning! Ahhh. I recommend this place to a group of friends or a couple looking for some quiet romance. It is off the beaten path but, I plan on going back soon! Lou is the sweet woman that runs the place.
