Just had a very nice 2 weeks holiday here. It is French with many french guests. Of course it is on the (best) French side. People here smoke at the table! Very pleasent. Lots of activity at the excellent breakfast and then everyone seems to disappear for the day and then the evening is busy and the restaurant full. Do reserve any night as food excellent, not expensive and good portions. Very nice bar and restaurant staff... thanks guys. Also the reception team were wonderful... Its very nice and quiet in the day and the beach is right here! Watersports and boats available. I think negative comments come from the many flight crew who arrive late and find light bulbs missing or the bar closed etc. You do need a car to enjoy this lovely island.(we used Paradise rent a car or use the Hotel contact). No georgeous stewardesses sunbathing here unfortunately they must all go to Orient beach or elsewhere.but htey are there to be admired at breakfast.
This ACCOR chain works on basis book very early for best prices. Hotel being upgraded to 4 star later this year so i hope prices do not go up too much..Standard rooms face the road and car park, all other face gardens and water..
Marigot is only 5 minutes drive away with many good restaurants and as well as hotel restaurant there is a beach bar 2 mins away, a pizzeria and a good patisserie in 2 mins walk.
