The hotel is centrally located on Front Street close to all the shops etc. but for the traveller/tourist who is looking for that extra comfort this is not the hotel for you. The rooms are plain, bed (twin beds in mine), tv etc. and shower (really small - turn around space only) and personally for me not a good value for the money. It was relatively clean but nothing to oooh about.

My husband and i stayed at the Horizon View Beach Hotel in August of 2004 for our 1st year anniversary. It felt like a home away from home. There was a lovely board walk with a spectacular beach a step away. The location is perfect because it is close to all the nice stores, restaurants and casinos. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have a nice getaway and still shop.

My husband and i spent our honeymoon at Horizon View. At first we were told that it was a place mainly for people who came on business and not for honeymooners. However we decided to give it a try and we loved every moment of it. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely. It was just what we expected because we had already seen it on the website.

The service right down to housekeeping was excellent. We had easy access to the beach, restaurants, shops, supermarket. It was just a lovely experience and we have told all our loved ones and friends about Horizon View.

We would like to thank all the members of staff at the Horizon View for making our stay a comfortable and an enjoyable one.

We highly recommend Horizon view to all and we will be back.

Stayed at Horizon a few times as did not have a choice...wanted to stay in town but Holland House was full. Service sucks...plus its a very dangerous place in terms of staying as a lot of Jewelers check in with their merchandise and so shady characters are always lurking around to nab some thing off u..the hotel management is the most laid back management...with no one on the front desk to answer important phone calls etc. I would not stay there for free... I would consider staying if the hotel changed its management. I personally know of an incident when a Jewelry supplier checked in the hotel and held his bag in his room and in his absence the manager handed over the room keys to some one who claimed to be the guests friend and then when the guest returned the bag went missing. Any way, my personal advice...check in to Holland House right next door for better rooms, same price, better service...
