Club O. is relaxed, very friendly, good food, no need to leave for anything to make one's full vacation complete. I am a nudist and a "relaxer," not a "see everything I can" on the island. Will be back many times.

To celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, we splurged on 40 days at Club O, and have no regrets at all. We again stayed in a mini suite, a great location as we met many friendly people, shared wine and nibbles as well as meals at our unit, and had many interesting conversations. As always, the staff from housekeepers to reception to boutique were cheerful, welcoming and respectful. An empty propane tank was replaced within 5 minutes, allowing us to continue cooking our dinner. The "beach boys" greeted us each morning as we set off for our 7a.m walk, and security said "goodnight" as we ended each evening with our customary walk around the property.
Days of swimming, snorkeling, reading and frequent short walks along the Club O section of beach, as well as daily academic work on the laptop, leave us satisfied and not in need of any night life other than fantastic star gazing.
There are a couple of observations which may be of interest. This is clothing optional, and those of us who are true naturists are a bit amused at the amount of textile worn, not only on the path to and from the beach but even around units. This, as well as the blatant ignoring of the signs indicating that the property is for Club O guests only, raises curiosity as to who really ought to be wandering around the units. Security cannot be everywhere, but cruise ship visitors were occasionally sent back to the beach and reminded of no photos.
We love the "optional" so pack only carry on with a change of clothes for grocery shopping. We have already booked another stay, and look forward to enjoying the warm breezes in a very relaxing environment.

We've visted Club O twice and just returned from our second two week Xmas visit. It is a wonderful place and probably the best naturist resort we've visited--and we have been to quite a few in North America and Europe. The expansive grounds, unparalled beach and pristine water are the main highlights. The accommodations are simple, but clean and comfortable.
The area where we would like to see some improvement is in the night-life. The Papagaya restaurant has excellent food and on most nights some form of entertainment. However, for the last two years there has been very little variety in the type of entertainment and music. There are two or three regulars who are DJ's and/or have electronic back-up and sing. However, most of the songs are the same every night. Occasionaly one hears a song from this century--Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas--but this is rare and it is always the same song. The vast majority of the songs are "golden oldies" with the emphasis on oldies! We'd really like to see the music updated and some more variety. We were there to holiday and wanted to go out at night, but some nights we just stayed home because we were developing musical ear-worms from hearing the same songs over and over. We think there may be other guests like that. Improve the entertainment and there will be more people coming out for dinnner and spending the evening listening to music and dancing. That will benefit the guests and the resort and make it better than it already is.

We've vacationed in St. Martin since the mid 80's, and have found ourselves spending more and more of our beach time at Club O's beautiful beach. Finally, several years ago , we decided to try staying there. And we loved it! Some will describe the accomodations as "rustic", (no TV or pool) but this is no problem, in fact it is part of the charm. Just getting up in the morning, not getting dressed, taking our coffee down to our reserved chairs and feeling the warm sun rising is worth the trip. Besides the chairs and umbrellas, there is free wi-fi. The staff is friendly and helpful. Besides the 2 restaurants, it is a short walk to the textiled end of the beach to other terrific beach bars/restaurants, our 2 favorites are Ethnic & Orange Fever. It's also only a short drive to many other fine restaurants in Orient Village, Grand Case, or Oyster Pond. Our only complaint is that the time flies by too quickly.
