We have stayed at this Inn for the past two years for a few nights prior to checking into the Sandals Halcyon that is right across the street. We are heading back in a few days for our third stay. Ingrid the owner is a wonderful person, very active in the local community and takes care of her guests. We stay in the one bedroom unit at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor, a very nice room with a full kitchen and a small living room with TV and a private bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has the basics like plates, silverware and glasses, and Ingrid provides an electric kettle, instant coffee and all the fixings. The room is very clean, she even has a mosquito net over the bed so you can have a peaceful nights sleep in cases a few mosquitoes make it into the room. The room has an air conditioner in both the living room and the bedroom, so everything was nice and cool. This small Inn is on a very busy street, so you will hear traffic noise, but to be honest it was not all that loud in the bedroom that is in the back. There is a small shopping center with a food market and some small shops a few hundred yards up the street, and there is a sidewalk so the walk is not all that unsafe. I would recommend that if you want to cross the street to get to the Sandals resort that you use the footbridge that is next to the shopping center. We did not have any problem with water pressure, so that must have been fixed prior to our stay in 2009 and 2010. I have attached some photos of the room, send us an e-mail if you have any questions…and if you book this place, say hi to Ingrid from John and Ann from Wisconsin.
