This is a small to medium sized couples only hotel. The grounds and rooms were excellent. The food was superb and the staff were great. The facilities were more than adequate. I have stayed at many resorts throughout the Caribbean and this has to be one of the best.

Returned to the Rendezvous having been there this time last year, wasn't sure if going back to the same place would be a good idea as we had such a lovely time last year. We were not disappointed! Many new thoughtful little touches have been added. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they absolutely love their jobs which means that they give an excellent service. Other reviewers seem to miss the fact that you are on holiday in St Lucia! I am surprised by the comments that there are not enough sun loungers and that they are taken by 7am, definitely not the case when we were there, there are so many different areas to get loungers, there is never any shortage. The food is good with a wide variety on the buffet and the standard of food and service in the restaurant is second to none. The other good thing is that when it says ALL INCLUSIVE, that's what it is. We visited Le Sport and there were a large number of supplemental charges on the menu - not the case at Rendezvous. Overall it definitely hits the spot for a nice relaxing holiday!

The Good: Staff are excellent ( especially Candis! ) they are friendly and professional nothing is too much trouble. Tip: Ask if you want something thats not on the surface provided ie in room drinks. The rooms are of a good standard and the 'hide away' pool areas good.
The bad: The sun loungers are few in number and out dated and taken by 7am. The room fridge does not have even water in it, no bath robes and food, whilst good, gets a bit mundane quickly. Average age of holiday makers 50. Town is nothing special so best to stay in resort or hire a car. The hot tub is fab but far too hot!
The ugly: There was a neo bug in the resort affecting over 40 guests.
Top Tip: do a day swop and go to the sister resort - Le Sport this IS a 5* restort.

Just back from a superb week at The Rendezvous.
Prior to booking the resort I read a lot of the reviews here on trip advisor.
I am amazed at some of the negativity people write. Some comments really could harm this resort.
Tree Frogs - Yes you hear them but they do not keep you awake at night.
Dampness in rooms - Our Garden Room was perfect.
Graveyard - Yes it's there, none of the rooms overlook it, and really you have to go out of your way to find it.
Airport - Noise for about 10 seconds, no flights at night and about aa handful of 10 seconds noise a day. Not a big issue. Perfect if you use the helicopter service into the resort.
Waiting for drinks - This really doesn't happen, the staff are very attentive.
Couldn't Snorkel - Use one of the daily dives.

This resort is by far value for money, the staff amazing, entertainment all day and at night, nice hide away areas for the romantic kind. The buffet was of a high standard of choices and I much preferred the buffet then the Restuarant. Gardens and landscaping excellent, location very good. Bedrooms excellent and the bed, by far the biggest and comfortable bed I've slept on.

Many of the people we spoke to had returned year on year, if it was that bad people would not return.

Would I return - of course. I loved the rest and the total chill out this resort provides.
